Others have commented on the history of the main building. As for our experience, Rosario is tucked into a beautiful bay with marina, with views of islands, water, boats, and the take off and landing of the seaplanes. Somehow we were put in a handicap room at the end of the last building along a ridge. We had a water... More

We were fortunate enough to stay 2 nights at the Rosario Resort & Spa. We chose to stay in one of their condos a little farther from the main building/restaurant. Our room was very clean, great view and the walk to the restaurant area was a breeze and actually quite refreshing due to the surroundings and scenery. Great customer service... More

First of all you would be lucky enough just to find yourself on this island. Icing on the cake would be staying at the Rosario. We were there in the fall and it was simply serene and luxurious. The more than 100 year-old main hotel is an arts and crafts style former estate of Robert Moran. Views from the main... More

If you'd like to book a place with snippy, snotty check-in help, Joey, then go right ahead - this might be a dream place for you. If not, run! His attitude has been the worst of our 3-week vacation. Yes, check-in time is 4:00 and, yes, we are here at 3:00, but he refuses to even check with housekeeping and... More

Dear stephslug, Thank you for letting us know of your experience. Please take personal issue with me, and not my employee, who is an absolute all-star with our guests. We like nothing more than to get our guests in a clean room before our 4 pm check-in time. Unlike city hotels where there are many of the same room styles... More

We had a 2 night stay in a Hillside Deluxe King Room. We spent mornings and evenings on the deck overlooking the bay. It felt like we were thousands of miles away from our mainland home. Rosario is a beautiful resort with a relaxed, yet lively feel. From the spa to the 21 and over swimming pool and the Mansion... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Orca's Island. This resort was everything we had hoped for and more. What a beautiful experience as we had never by to the San Juans. Great restaurants in town only 20 minutes away. Look forward to returning again someday soon.

Our group of 3 adults and 2 kids ate at the lounge in a very informal but scenic setting. The kids enjoyed their quesadillas and chicken tenders, and the grownups had light but tasty entrees with a brew. My chicken pot pie was a steamy, creamy wonder topped by an enormous flaky crust. A singer accompanied by his guitar provided... More

This was are first and deffinitely not last time to visit this resort. It has everything you need for a relaxing visit and to be able to get away from it all. We got there just as the summer season was starting to kick off but the staff was very good, the food was superb and we had a great... More

My wife and I stayed at Rosario Resort almost 10 years ago and returned in June for a few days of relaxation. There's only two places to eat at Rosario- the Resort's Restaurant or Cascade Bay Grill. We decided to give the Cascade Bay Grill a try the first night and chose a table under a bright red umbrella. Tepid... More
