Four of us (2 couples) stayed for 2 nights in the Pond cottage during the week after July 4 and we absolutely loved it. As many have mentioned, we arrived, picked up our key from the empty office, and never saw another person the entire stay! Privacy, away from everything, solitude. That will immediately probably segregate those that will love... More

Deer Harbor Inn is a great get-away. It is quiet and relaxing. There are many deer and rabbits on the property. The breakfast is a great simple meal with wonderful raisin bread that makes good toast. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. We biked to Eastsound -- lots of ups and downs and traffic. It will be a place... More

My gal and I stayed in an orchard cottage for 2 nights. It was in nice condition. Looked like it had some updated things. The hot tub is a nice too! This place is a little bit off the beaten path, so I wish the information given regarding amenities were complete so that we could have prepared a bit more.... More

We spent our anniversary here. We were looking for something low key and relaxing, which this was. We rented one of the cabins with a private hot tub. We had instructions to come into the office upon arrival to get the key but found the office locked. Another couple arrived shortly after and as we wondered what we were supposed... More

The Deer Harbor Inn extends an apology for the faulty hot tub. The prior guest had turned the tub off and left the lid off overnight so it was cold but I did test the tub and it had the proper balance of sanitizer applied. More

the hotel was obviously once quite lovely. As others me tioned there is nobody running the place, or seemingly caring if you come or go. There is no cell service anyway. the phone in reception is disconnected and a key left in a basket. the vrounds and rooms are neglected.m the breakfast as basic as you can vet...a store boufht... The Deer Harbor Inn is a unique place to stay. We stayed for two nights, in one of the Log Cabin Lodge rooms, but never saw the people who run/own the place. When you arrive (between 4PM-9PM) all you do is go into the office and pick up a little bag, setting on a table, with your name on it.... More

Beautiful location walking distance from Deer Harbor and preserved nature area. Charming and rustic, the lodge where we stayed really captured that classic Pacific Northwest spirit, which I love. Amenities are basic but there was a hair dryer and mini fridge in the room, as well as a coffee maker and toaster and continental breakfast provided in a little basket,... More

My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Deer Harbor Inn. We took advantage of the Travel Zoo offer and saved a ton of money by doing so. We stayed in Lodge room #2 which is on the ground floor of the lodge. I think the management has really taken guest comments into consideration because there... More

We stayed here 2 nights upstairs in room 7 the lodge. Our room had the best view - a lovely view of the water. Overall the room was comfortable and clean, and was pretty much what we expected from the reviews. The lodge itself had a couple of common areas and two really nice balconies. But for the price one... More

We stayed (three of us) two nights in June, 2014 at the Deer Harbor Inn and found almost NO contact with management nor staff, even when we called the numbers listed at the office we got no return calls nor much action The on-sight restaurant while quite pricey wasn't even open on Wednesday night during tourist (?) season. For the... More
