TV didn't work and the poorly organized breakfast was really a let down, unless you consider a banana, English muffin and a bag of cereal in a large picnic basket very filling. We saw some staff that said "sorry about the TV"-and cleaned our room.

The Deer Harbor Inn would like the opportunity to respond to this guest's comments. We are sorry the cable TV did not work but was beyond our control. The cable company had an outage and the system was down about 12 hrs. We know how several hours with out media imput can be disturbing but it was beyond our control. As... More

Lovely Island! Able to get pics of deer and rabbits right in our own back yard! Stayed in The Pond Cottage. Lovely! Tempurpedic beds (I think, didn't check the tags). Granite counter tops and country sink in the kitchen. Stainless steel appliances. Washer and dryer. Only con: take the Hot tub cover off right away and turn the temp to... More

My husband and I spent the weekend at Deer Harbor Inn, not knowing what to expect. We were pleased to experience a quiet, relaxing time. It reminded us of a retreat center, rustic but peaceful. There were large rabbits roaming around, along with sauntering cats It wasn't the best time of the year to embrace the outdoors, however, we enjoyed... More

We didn't see one person who worked there. Everything is self service (even check in where anyone can just grab your key). Our groupon said breakfast was included which was a joke. Two English muffins in a Baggie with a banana and some granola cereal wrapped up in plastic. Is that even sanitary? Who knows how long it had been... More

We really wanted to rate this place 3 stars and it has tremendous calling for some but we expected much more for the monies charged for an Orchard Cottage. We knew this was a County Inn and the property layout is cute. There is a restaurant on the property, we enjoyed a meal there one night and the food was... More

The Deer Harbor Inn thanks you for your recent visit. Just to clearfy a couple for your comments, we use bromine for a sanitizer in the tub and test it daily to be within state standards. The tubs are only capable of heating to 104 as per state standards. Also want to state that the mattress was not a foam... More

We really enjoyed our recent 2 night stay in lodge room 7. The room was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. Loved everything about this place and would have given it 5 stars but for the poor Internet connectivity. The first night Internet cut in and out and the second night we couldn't connect at all . To be... More

Showed up and no one was in office to check us in or answer questions. Just a gift bag with our name on it that contained a map and our room keys. We stayed in the main lodge which was basically a house with maybe 8 rooms that had locks (more like a bed & breakfast). A family was sitting... More

Thanks for your comments and we do appreciate the feed back. In response to your suggestions, we have removed the TV in the commen area and replaced them with TVs in the guest rooms wich sould make the lodge quieter and more peaceful. Also we no longer have the milk in the commen area fridge but in the fridge in... More

I think the inn should not be classified as a B & B. Unless it stands for bed & basket. Very remote setting and had we not stopped in as early as we did to just check out location, it would have been very difficult to figure out where to go as there was not a soul in site to... More

Just to clearify, the Deer Harbor Inn does not market ourselves as a bed and breakfast but a country inn. Sorry the guest mis- understood. During the off -season we try to be in the office as the ferries arrive but we do not have a staffed check in office. When we are not in the office we leave a... More

We spent two lovely nights in the Pond Cottage. It was just like a wonderful home in the woods with two comfortable beds and two baths. Even had a craw foot tub in the master bedroom. We watched Dancing with the Stars on a large screen TV. Enjoyed our own hot tub on our deck. Full kitchen with all the... More

Hubby and I stayed here for two nights during a 2-week road trip exploring the Pacific Northwest. I am disabled, so when I called the Resort to make reservations I requested an accessible room. The person I talked to was very friendly and helpful, explaining they didn’t have fully accessible rooms but if she put us on the first floor... More
