We had the privilege of staying at the beautiful Weinhard Hotel during a Murder Mystery Weekend held there and we had a great time. Gary & Shelley were wonderful hosts - very polite and helpful during our first time in the Dayton, WA area. We would love to go back to the area to check it out and again and... More

The room was beautiful! We had a canopy queen bed. Large room, super comfortable bed. Would have liked to try the surrey bike, but didn't have time. Had a chance to enjoy the rooftop patio/garden for a while in the evening. Enjoyed homemade muffins with terrific coffee downstairs in the morning. Love to go back! The only warning: we were... More

We have stayed at the Weinhard Hotel on several occasions over the past 8 years and it has always been a highlight of our trips. The rooms are clean, beautiful, and ooze charm from every wall. Dayton is not really a destination, but the nearby wineries and a few local attractions make it a good place to visit. Given the... More

Marv, Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us! I see from your photos that you stayed in room 10. The bedroom set in that room predates the Civil War. Glad you enjoyed it! We appreciate your continued patronage. Wishing you many happy travels, Shellie McLeod More

We've stayed at this hotel for special occasions, like our anniversary, and it is truly a unique experience, as well as a historical one. Locally owned and operated with sincere attention to details as well as visitors' needs. Be sure and peek in the rooms that are being cleaned the next morning - all are wonderful. Experience the past, and... More

The Weinhard Hotel added to a pleasant stay in this interesting, off-the-main-highway town. The rolling hills of the Palouse, the Palouse River Falls, the interesting old homes, and some quite excellent restaurants (especially Manila Bay and The Weinhard Cafe) made for a pleasant and relaxing end to our vacation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The entire hotel is... More

We felt welcome right from the minute we walked into the very nicely appointed lobby. We stayed in Room 16, right next to the roof-top garden. Beautiful view out the window. You can see the old Depot from the garden, the reason we came to Dayton in the first place. This hotel is worth seeing as well. Each room is... More

The wedding party stayed at the Weinhard in early July. The owners were great, very helpful and accommodated our every need. The wedding was in the rooftop garden just after sunset. It was beautiful. The granola at breakfast was superb. The rooftop garden for morning coffee and evening wine was wonderful. Will definitely be staying here again.

Although the city didn't have much going on, the location of the Weinhard was a good, central location. The rooms were very clean and pretty spacious. Our favorite part was probably the roof top garden right off of our room that gave you a place to hang out during the day and especially at night. Shellie and the staff were... More

We enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel. Well worth the drive. We stayed in room #9. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the tile-work in the bathroom. The only downfall of this room is that it is facing the rather busy street below. On our next visit, I would try to get a room that is not on... More

Andee, Thank you for your review! I am so glad you enjoyed your time here. Next time you come we will have to put you in room 14 or 16, which both face the rooftop garden. Nice view from those rooms, and your firetable is waiting for you only a few steps from your door. :-) We appreciate you sharing... More
