We are frequent visitors. Have come several times in december. Haven't been here in a couple years. They have changed from free kids activities to everything costs. The kids really enjoyed making ornaments at santa's workshop, but now it is in the cub club and it costs $. Wiley woods was free and now its magic quest and that costs... More

This is indeed a great place for kids and the overall value is good if you consider it includes accommodations + water park admissions. The initial check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable and spacious enough depending on the suite you select. The water park is good with different activities... More

I don't know why people say this isnt a good deal. For my family of four we basically spent $40 a night per person. That's really cheap because you get a water park and a hotel in one. Prices once your there though are high but it is you choice to add extras if you want to. Great idea, hotel... More

This is our third visit to the Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound and my experience was much better than my last. As I have reviewed in the past, this place is best when experienced Sunday thru Thursdays. Weekends (friday/saturday nights) are insane - too many people, way to expensive. We purchased a very, very rare groupon for the GWL and... More

We had big expectations of what this water park would be like. Expected it to be larger than the pictures showed plus it was really crowded so lineups were long as was the check-ins. The hotel room was average. Check in times were in the afternoon and your bracelet to use the waterpark was good until the next day. We... More

I am glad to hear that you had fun despite the issues you had with your stay. As for price, a two night stay in our lodge is comparable to four single day tickets to a regional theme park or one two-day pass to a popular Orlando attraction. Even though all amenities are not included in the room rate, we... More

Family of 4 from Vancouver, BC We have always found no matter where you go, as long as the hotel or resort has a pool the kids are happy...Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound was no exception. We have no problem dishing out $400 a night for room and taxes but expect to be wowed for that price. The rooms were... More

We have been here twice and love it! Lots of stuff to do for everyone...waterpark, MagiQuest (a cool magic wand treasure hunt throughout the hotel), game room, teen hangout, activities for small kids, and even a spa...if you can't find something to do, there must be something wrong! It is a bit expensive, but remember the price includes the hotel... More

Booked one night stay, which was definitely enough. I can't imagine staying here longer than that one night since you get use of the waterpark plus other activities from 1pm on your checkin day to close of the day you actually checkout. Stayed in the 2 queen room which was really nice, roomy with high ceilings, fridge, micro and sitting... More

We stayed for one night; this was our second trip here and it seems one night is about right. If you take advantage of the ability to start using the park at 1 PM day of check-in and through the remaining day, you get a good chunk of water fun for a somewhat more reasonable price. This is expensive, but... More

Great year round fun for the whole family. The indoor waterpark has something for all ages from 1 to 100. Teens can veg out at the arcade and the adults can relax at the spa. Multiple restaurants make finding something for everyone easy.
