If you're at the end of a long, tiring day and all you want to do is eat and sleep, the Timberland Inn will do about as well as any place, especially if you get there late and plan to leave early. The outside and the lobby area are presentable enough, but the rooms need a refresh......noisy A/C, an old... More

Needed a room close to Toutle for one night while participating in the tour de blast. Room itself was ok, comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. On the downside, the tv was an old crt and the remote was only partially functional. Lots of flies in the room (little annoying flies and craneflies). As I was only there to sleep(arrived late and... This was an adequate, very basic motel for an overnight stay close to Mt. St. Helens. The room was so cold when we arrived on a warm afternoon that I turned off the AC and opened the screened window to bring in some fresh air. This worked fine and we had a good sleep. The shower was great and we... More

This is a great location, I will give it that. The room was basic, but the air conditioner had a smell which was horrible and the carpet was not clean, left black marks on my socks. The shower made odd noises and the toilet did not work properly, which is what I am going to address next. Upon discovering the... More

We stayed at the Timberland May 23rd. The inn was clean and the management was nice. The bed was a king and was like sleeping on a box spring. The place was quiet television stations were quite and assortment with some channels not working with a DirectTV tag just floating around the screen.

If you want to visit Mount St. Helens, and you are jsut looking for a place to stay on the way to it, this is one option. The rooms are clean, there are family rooms with special rates, very modest breakfast, nothing else to add.

We stayed recently for two nights and was upgraded to a king suite. Service was very good and the room was large and clean. Nice bonus with the breakfast also. Would definitely come back if down that way again.

We actually got the king jacuzzi suite. Had a nice Lay Z Boy couch, table, chairs, king bed and the biggest bathroom I have ever seen! We only stayed one night, but it was restful and quiet. I would stay there again,.

Way over priced!!!!! Decorated circa. 1960's and looks like Motel 6 on the inside. Tiniest bathroom I have ever seen! Beds pretty good and it was clean, but odd oder when you first enter. Never did figure out what it was. Staff o.k. Won't stay here again!

Average room queen bed when promised a king if I booked ahead. Girl who answered he phone promised a king for queen price if I stayed there instead of the Mount St Helen Hotel who offered the same rate for queen and had a better rating in Tripadvisor. Of course an hour later we got there a male at the... More
