What a very beautiful European delight. An old 1911 hotel that was updated. The second you walk in your transformed into another era a very relaxing feel with some wonderful music playing. The rooms are on second and third floor which the hotel worker helped carry my luggage, I was on the third. The room was darling though the bathroom... More

From the radiant heat to the gold doors and lovely room furnishings to the Philosophy bathroom goodies, the Camas Hotel is a great spot in the middle of a revitalized downtown. Comfortable, friendly, clean. I would highly recommend for business or pleasure travel. The only two drawbacks - for some - may be the whistle of the train (I found... More

My wife and I were fortunate enough to have a walkthrough of the entire building and its remodel over the last 6 years. All we can say is very well done! The owners brought back the 1911 feel and incorporated all the boutique luxurious comforts. Love Camas and the hotels location too.

This hotel is right in town and allows dogs for a 1X charge versus a per night charge (which is much more fair than per night!!). Very clean and comfy room for a reasonable rate. Free wifi and breakfast buffet. Buffet not as extensive as other hotels, but o.k. Bed was very nice as was the "fireplace." Will stay here... More

We have stayed at the Camas hotel three times, and have enjoyed every one of them! Camas itself is as cute as can be, and hopping on a Friday night! I enjoyed the cleanliness of the Camas Hotel, the high quality bedding, and the attention to detail. Whether we stay in a luxury bath suite or an economy European style... More

Hello Jill, What a great way to start 2014. Yours is the first review. Thank you so much for your kind remarks. Perfect for a one night stay--shopping, restaurants, movie theatre, bars within 1 block. Well decorated and clean rooms with nice beds/linens. Please stay on the 3rd floor with a bathroom--newly renovated rooms. We were on the 2nd floor in the honeymoon suite, which is lovely but noisy from floor traffic above and the stairwell. Street noise was minimal, but the... More

I recently spent one night at the Camas Hotel. I hadn't even really planned on staying the night in Camas but it was getting on in the afternoon so I peeled off the highway to check out the downtown. It looked like a neat downtown so I stayed and the Camas hotel was perfect. Room was very comfortable and there... More

We were looking for a quiet, well-appointed inn convenient to downtown Camas and easily accessible from the highway. The Camas Hotel exceeded our expectation. We received a cordial welcome, the room was small but well-supplied with everything we needed for our overnight stay. The property probably would not be ideal for an extended stay or for someone with accessibility problems... More

I travelled to Portland recently and wanted to do the Columbia River Gorge trip on both sides, so I found the little town of Camas and the Camas hotel. I loved it. I had room 23 for a single and the bathroom and kitchen were right across the hall - very convenient. My room had a nice flat screen TV... More
