Great historic hotel, locally owned, and in a great location. I only had to walk 1/2 block to find a great restaurant and brewery. This hotel is located in the middle of the historic downtown of Camas, which is a great place to walk around, eat, drink, go to a movie, spend a day. The hotel staff were friendly and... More

My boyfriend and I were in Portland for a weekend checking out wedding venues, visiting some friends, and celebrating my birthday. We had booked all of our hotel accommodations about a month and a half in advance. We were very excited when we pulled up to the Camas and were glad we didn't have to drop $200 for a nice... More

I think the advice in the headline is very good. We, naturally, regret any problems. Traveling can be very frustrating, especially when mistakes occur, and they often do, in spite of everyone's best efforts. I was once stranded in Hong Kong because I had my flight out because I misunderstood 2am to mean 2pm the same day ! So it... More

This is a sweet little hotel with beautifully decorated, clean little rooms. When we arrived it was a crushingly hot day and the rooms we had reserved were cheap ones without air conditioning, but the staff immediately offered us a free upgrade that was very, very much appreciated. We slept well in comfortable beds and in the morning enjoyed the... More

The room was more than ok and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we have slept in for many years!! Breakfast was 1st Class. Highly recommended that you give Camas Hotel a visit. It is located in a beautiful old times street and community with many cafés and eateries.

We were on a tour of the Columbia gorge and found this little bed and breakfast right in "downtown" Camas. The building was very old and charming but upgraded to air conditioning and Wifi. They had VERY NICE beds - especially the King Suite. Well decorated rooms were immaculate, coffee pots, real creamers, wine glasses, etc...Staff was eager and accommodating.... More

We recently visited the Columbia gorge area and loved this historic hotel and this quaint town. We stayed here based on the reviews we had read about this hotel. So I feel compelled to pass on the word. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated. The beds are luxurious and the bathroom toiletries are top end. The staff was very... More

Largely renovated and updated hotel in a century-old building in small-town Washington. On the plus side, the updates are great - gold doors and tiled bathrooms, breakfast room, air conditioning (room 2). Bedding and bath amenities are great. Asked for other pillows and got 4 to try! On the minus side, hauling luggage down the block and up the stairs... More

We were completely surprised by this review, as we had purchased gluten-free pastries for every day of this guests stay. The guests never mentioned that there was a problem until check-out. At that point we realized that someone else had been eating the gluten-free pastries! Now that we know, we can rectify the situation, possibly putting special request items in... More

The Camas Hotel is a wonderful place to land for an evening...Camas is close to Vancouver, Portland and the airport. Since our last visit three years ago, both the hotel and the historic downtown have added new and interesting features. The hotel now has an atrium breakfast room, and the town has a small collections of restaurants, a brewery/eatery, coffee... More

Stayed here for a business trip & loved it! Very comfortable bed, sheets, towels & environment. Felt the accommodations were better than most places I usually stay for work. The location was great - being able to walk around downtown. Staff was pleasant/helpful. Breakfast was good. I had room 6, which had its own bathroom & was on the 2nd... More

My husband and I travel a bit and get tired of the same old chain hotels. Camas is not one of those. This was our 2nd visit to the Camas Hotel. Our first visit was in 2010 and we stayed in a king room on the 2nd floor that was beautifully decorated in a French country charm will all the... More

We would like to thank you for your thoughtful and positive comments about the Camas Hotel. We love that you appreciate the things we love about this 103-year old building and sweet downtown area. I'd like to let you know that we are aware that rooms #26 and #27 do not have, at this point, an ideal solution for storing... More
