We were on a family trip to deal with GMA and GPA, we stayed in Camas because Sis-in-law lives in Camas. They have done a wonderful job bringing back this company hotel into day. Built to house employees and visitors to the local paper mill, they have done a wonderful job with the remodel. It was a long climb up... More

Great little hotel with a kitchen that can be used on the floor, nice bathrooms in the hall for those without a bathroom in the room. 104 years old and lots of character. Nice little seating areas available too. Coffee and green tea available in the room.

Exploring the Gorge? Stay at the perfect location for your trip! We weren't sure what we were getting into when we drove by the huge Georgia-Pacific plant in Camas on the way to the hotel. But once we walked through the door, we were charmed by this place. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room was small but just... More

Wonderful one night at Camas Hotel. Quaint downtown hotel perfectly appointed. Look forward to our next visit. A wonderful surprise which I recommend to everyone. Quiet stay, lovely linens and cute breakfast sun room.

We stayed at the Camas Hotel for one night and had a wonderful time. It is located downtown a very quaint, charming town. We walked the entire town to enjoy the shops and eateries. For dinner we stepped outside the hotel and dined next door and after that we walked 2 blocks to the theater. We feel that is what... More

I stayed in Camas after hiking for the day and driving to Portland the next. This hotel was so cute and quaint. The staff were very friendly and check-in took 5 minutes. Parking is down the street, but it was no problem, because everything is within easy walking distance. The town has many shops and restaurants right around the hotel;... More

Thank you for your kind remarks. Can't argue with the creaks - the hotel, although modernized is 104 years old! Just wanted to note that our front desk staff will be happy to assist anyone with luggage any time, until we can get a dumbwaiter installed which will alleviate that concern. We're working on it. I stayed 4 nights in the Camas Hotel and was very pleased. The staff is really over the top! They even carried my suitcase up the the stairs for me! I had a very pleasant stay, the room was kept very clean and it overlooked a quaint quiet street. It was very close to all the great shops of downtown... More

I take every opportunity to stay at the Camas Hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, a bit small but plenty of room for me. The quaint downtown area is walkable and feels like home. The new restaurant down the street, Nuestra Mesa has great cocktails and amazing food. The hotel offers a tasty breakfast of quiche, fruit, pastries, cereal,... More

This hotel popped on a Hotels.com search and looked intriguing. It is in fun neighborhood with excellent dining choices. Enjoyed Mexican restaurant Nuestra Mesa. Also had a small movie theatre. It's close proximity to the Portland airport made it a good choice for our last hotel. Just take note that free parking is a short block away. There is no... More

I would like to thank you for this overall positive review. I am so glad that you and so many other people appreciate the charm of downtown Camas, and the intimacy and comfort of our historic hotel. I am very sorry that we missed your room refresh. I have looked into this issue, and a common problem is that people... More

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is very clean! The front desk staff were friendly and careful to make sure we had what we needed. I hope to go back at some point. Camas is a fun little town.
