The staff are the friendliest in the world. We booked in for a Saturday night as we were visiting friends in North Seattle for a birthday party. So glad to have discovered this part of Washington. Plenty of parking and we had a fantastic sized king room on the main floor. I really like how the HI Express has an... more

Icky. In general this place is fine, but it stinks. Somehow they booked me into a smoking room. As soon as I opened the door it smelled like someone threw an ashtray in my face. I went downstairs and asked for a non-smoking room. They only had one room left and it was the handicapped room. I was fine with... more

First was the bedding - the absolute most comfortable bedding ever. Second - the cleanliness. Immaculate housekeeping, not only the rooms but over the entire facility. Third - the Continental Breakfast. Very good, with lots of variety. Why spend an extra 15-20 dollars a day on breakfast when you can eat for free at the hotel. All in all, an... more

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and have been pleasantly surprised both times. The rooms are very nice, clean, great beds and linens and the staff were very friendly. Great value and convenient location just off the 405. more

I agree with all previous comments, this is an excellent H I E the beds were especially comfortable and the hotel very quiet and accomodating. Also, very handy for a nights stay before taking the ferry to Whidby Island. more

I like HIExpress motels for their great value, and this is yet another. Location is great as the I5 and I405 highways merge nearby, taking you anywhere you want. Grocery and restaurant options are abundant, yet the facility is set back and quiet. I've seen and eaten their breakfasts often and this one is typical for the chain, i.e., plentiful,... more

I actually walked in at 11.30 pm - I'm not big on planning some visits out. They gave me a great rate ($90/night) on a king room. As others have said - fridge and microwave in room, comfortable beds, great linens, paper in the morning, hot breakfasts, and AMAZINGLY helpful staff. Wireless internet is now available, too. My only bad... more

Priceline set this up for me. I've stayed at some Holiday Inn Express's that were, well, a step above "fleabag." But this one was great. Wonderful room, fantastic bed and helpful staff. more
