Great service!! Nice room. I enjoyed the many things to do in both fair haven and bellingham. The people who clean the rooms and provide service were excellent. The restaurants in the area are great. The Rustic coffee shop pleasant and comfortable.

Our first trip to Puget Sound area and what a wonderful place to stay our first two evenings. Rates during the week are lower so we felt a good value overall. This is not actually harbor front, but it is harbor view. And for desert dwellers, just a glimpse of the water at sunset was glorious. Step above the typical... More

While this hotel and the staff is pleasant it is overpriced for the amenities and experience. We wish we had stayed at the nearby Chrysalis, which is far superior in design, amenities, definitely the view, and has a good restaurant as well, for a similar price. You should be aware that the view from the Fairhaven is not directly fronting... More

Dear Mark L., Thank you for the honest review. I’m sorry that we did not live up to your expectations but glad to hear that you enjoyed the Inn’s cleanliness and convenient location. We are indeed located in an urban setting: in the heart of historic Fairhaven, adjacent to a working harbor complete with all the sights and sounds of... More

There's an interesting dichotomy with this hotel. The public areas feel right out of the 1900's era. But the room is really modern, amazingly large, and impeccably clean. The hotel has an excellent better-than-continental breakfast (included in the rate). Wi-Fi is also included at no extra charge. And the location can't be beat--walk out the front door, and you're in... More

We recently vacationed to explore the Historic Fairhaven District and this hotel was a perfect fit. It is a newer property, complying with modern building codes - fire/safety etc., but built to reflect an earlier time. We spent 2 nights at the Fairhaven Village Inn and experienced friendly staff, very clean rooms, and an overall inviting appeal. Our room was... More

We recently spend two nights at the Fairhaven Village Inn and we really pleased with our experience. It was very clean, friendly and what an amazing location. We will stay here every time we visit our son at college.

It was our 25th wedding anniversary and just on a whim chose the fairhaven. Glad we did! The rooms were very nice with a fireplace in each. Great added bonus! Very friendly and helpful staff. Right in the middle of a quaint little town. Would highly recommend staying here

Our daughter is attending Western Washington University in Bellingham. We discovered that there aren’t a lot of great hotels to choose from in the Bellingham area. There are lots of mediocre hotel chains in town. There are a few high-end hotels on the waterfront that are, unfortunately, right on very active and loud train tracks. We evaluated quite a few... The Inn is surrounded by funky cafés restaurants bars and unique shops so just right for strolling and sampling. The hillyness is just enough to wear off the food and drink intake. Village Books requires at least an hour to enjoy its well laid out three floors. The $5.00 coupon from the hotel was a nice bonus. The hotel itself... More

If so, don't stay here. There is a train running past the back of the hotel, and more important, there is a railroad crossing nearby, so the frequent trains which run all night, blow their whistles each time they pass the hotel. I understand that the rooms facing the street are quiet - if only we'd known. Also, if you... More
