There's an interesting dichotomy with this hotel. The public areas feel right out of the 1900's era. But the room is really modern, amazingly large, and impeccably clean. The hotel has an excellent better-than-continental breakfast (included in the rate). Wi-Fi is also included at no extra charge. And the location can't be beat--walk out the front door, and you're in... More

We recently vacationed to explore the Historic Fairhaven District and this hotel was a perfect fit. It is a newer property, complying with modern building codes - fire/safety etc., but built to reflect an earlier time. We spent 2 nights at the Fairhaven Village Inn and experienced friendly staff, very clean rooms, and an overall inviting appeal. Our room was... More

We recently spend two nights at the Fairhaven Village Inn and we really pleased with our experience. It was very clean, friendly and what an amazing location. We will stay here every time we visit our son at college.

It was our 25th wedding anniversary and just on a whim chose the fairhaven. Glad we did! The rooms were very nice with a fireplace in each. Great added bonus! Very friendly and helpful staff. Right in the middle of a quaint little town. Would highly recommend staying here

Our daughter is attending Western Washington University in Bellingham. We discovered that there aren’t a lot of great hotels to choose from in the Bellingham area. There are lots of mediocre hotel chains in town. There are a few high-end hotels on the waterfront that are, unfortunately, right on very active and loud train tracks. We evaluated quite a few... The Inn is surrounded by funky cafés restaurants bars and unique shops so just right for strolling and sampling. The hillyness is just enough to wear off the food and drink intake. Village Books requires at least an hour to enjoy its well laid out three floors. The $5.00 coupon from the hotel was a nice bonus. The hotel itself... More

If so, don't stay here. There is a train running past the back of the hotel, and more important, there is a railroad crossing nearby, so the frequent trains which run all night, blow their whistles each time they pass the hotel. I understand that the rooms facing the street are quiet - if only we'd known. Also, if you... More

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel and were delighted. The decor is wonderful and although appears to be of some age, the hotel itself is not. Desk staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, the room was comfortable and because we were on the back of the hotel we faced the water and had a small balcony. Our... More

I booked our reservation at the Fairhaven Village Inn mainly because it was close to where we would be getting off of a ferry from Ketchikan/Sitka. After having travelled for a month through Alaska/Canada, we could not have had a nicer place to rest and just browse through some absolutely fantastic stores before we headed back home. The people were... More

Wow, we were surprised to find this lovely jewel to stay in for a few days, before taking the ferry to Alaska. The room was so comfortable and lovely that I wanted to stay and let my husband head to Alaska. Lovely antiques in the Inn. Nice Library to sit and wait for time to leave to catch the ferry.... More
