We booked a night here to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Staying in Fairhaven is a great escape from Seattle, and the wonderful thing about this hotel is that it is right in the heart of this charming, walkable neighborhood. We could have stayed here several nights. So many cute shops within one block, lots of restaurants, waterfront walk, village green... More

My family and friends filled most of the hotel for a long weekend/week in order to celebrate my son's wedding. The Village Inn was the perfect spot! Located right in town, people had access to the cute shops and many restaurants! The kids loved the wooden train set, books and games offered in the library and the adults could be... More

We've stayed at this Inn a few times now and apparently my wife can't review it again as it's too soon! So I thought I would step in :-) I really want to talk about Customer Service. We had a somewhat tortuous weekend before arriving at the Fairhaven Village Inn. Our credit card company had been sending us on a... More

We have stayed here a number of times. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. They have a very enjoyable breakfast that should satisfy most people. A great stopover place when passing through the Bellingham area.

My adult daughter and I visited in Bellingham, Am happy to recommend this hotel in the Fairhaven area of Bellingham, which is not far from Western Washington University. We had a sm. fireplace in our room, a balcony where one could sit and watch the sailboats and other marine sights of Bellingham Bay. This hotel is close to shopping in... More

On our way from Seattle to Vancouver we drove through Fairhaven and fell in love with this little town. We actually left Vancouver early so we could spend the night at the Village Inn and explore Fairhaven. We called on Thursday and they happened to have 1 last room available on Saturday night, so we took it! The Village Inn... More

This location is perfectly located across the street from a charming little square with a book shop and wine cafe. As well as on the bay which is beautiful at sunset. The warmth and cleanliness of this hotel leaves you wanting for nothing. They have thought of every detail and you can just relax and enjoy.

Perhaps I walked in feeling a bit biased, because I had just gotten married, but the building felt beautiful, the staff was lovely, the room was very very quiet, the view was outstanding, and you get a coupon to the neighboring bookstore when you check in.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here, and found the room large and comfortable. I particularly liked the magnifying mirror and wish every hotel provided one. We were on the 2nd floor and the people overhead were "stompers." Next time we would ask for a 3rd floor room.

This inn is definitely the best place to stay in the Bellingham area. If you are lucky enough to get a room here you will easily understand my statement about it being quiet, peaceful and tranquil. It is obvious that the owners are very proud of there property and spare no expense units upkeep. A great stay.
