The Inn is surrounded by funky cafés restaurants bars and unique shops so just right for strolling and sampling. The hillyness is just enough to wear off the food and drink intake. Village Books requires at least an hour to enjoy its well laid out three floors. The $5.00 coupon from the hotel was a nice bonus. The hotel itself... More

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel and were delighted. The decor is wonderful and although appears to be of some age, the hotel itself is not. Desk staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, the room was comfortable and because we were on the back of the hotel we faced the water and had a small balcony. Our... More

I booked our reservation at the Fairhaven Village Inn mainly because it was close to where we would be getting off of a ferry from Ketchikan/Sitka. After having travelled for a month through Alaska/Canada, we could not have had a nicer place to rest and just browse through some absolutely fantastic stores before we headed back home. The people were... More

Wow, we were surprised to find this lovely jewel to stay in for a few days, before taking the ferry to Alaska. The room was so comfortable and lovely that I wanted to stay and let my husband head to Alaska. Lovely antiques in the Inn. Nice Library to sit and wait for time to leave to catch the ferry.... More

Charming rooms, ours was quite large with bay view, sitting area and gas fireplace. Comfortable, supportive bed with elegant high thread count sheets. My husband likes fresh air at night. Bad idea. The train goes by at least 5 times between 11 pm and 7 am, complete with multiple loud whistle blasts. Even with the sliding door fully closed, it... More

Dear Guest, We are so happy you enjoyed your guest room. Thank you for the observation that the parkside rooms, with the same lovely ambiance, are effected less by harbor sounds. Just a clarification about train schedules. Other that a evening Amtrak stop, there is no schedule. Some nights there are no or very few trains. Sorry, it seems the night... More

Nice room, good location in historic district. They provide a lot of nice touches such as cookies fresh from the oven when you arrive, 24-hr coffee and tea service in the lobby, a beautiful patio deck for enjoying breakfast or looking out over the town square. (Extra fun when there is a band playing on the town square stage!) But...yes,... More

We booked a night here to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Staying in Fairhaven is a great escape from Seattle, and the wonderful thing about this hotel is that it is right in the heart of this charming, walkable neighborhood. We could have stayed here several nights. So many cute shops within one block, lots of restaurants, waterfront walk, village green... More

My family and friends filled most of the hotel for a long weekend/week in order to celebrate my son's wedding. The Village Inn was the perfect spot! Located right in town, people had access to the cute shops and many restaurants! The kids loved the wooden train set, books and games offered in the library and the adults could be... More

We've stayed at this Inn a few times now and apparently my wife can't review it again as it's too soon! So I thought I would step in :-) I really want to talk about Customer Service. We had a somewhat tortuous weekend before arriving at the Fairhaven Village Inn. Our credit card company had been sending us on a... More

We have stayed here a number of times. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. They have a very enjoyable breakfast that should satisfy most people. A great stopover place when passing through the Bellingham area.
