From the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff to the quaintness and charm of my room, my stay exceeded my expectations. It is conveniently located, and has all shops and businesses within walking distance. The complimentary continental breakfast was better than expected and I appreciated the coffee, tea and hot chocolate available in the elegant library.

We stayed 2 nights in Suite 302 which was very spacious and comfortable. Had beautiful view of sunrise and Village Green and enjoyed having opportunity to park/forget the car and walk. Loved having fireplace in the living room with two recliners...perfect place to read and/or just relax. Staff helpful with restaurant suggestions.

You're paying for the convenient location. The rooms are large and comfortable - the bed is heaven; great linen, perfect pillows. Perhaps I've just been spoiled by traveling in England, but the complimentary breakfast is meh.

This is a very comfortable hotel...nice room, pretty quiet and nice pool and spa...the proximity to Whistler is great for skiing and the little town of Squamish has nice restaurants and very friendly people.

Dear, Rainydawn, Thank you for your review, however, I fear you have erroneously reviewed the wrong hotel. We are not located in the town of Squamish nor do we have a pool. If you ever visit Bellingham, WA please give us a try, we’d love to have you! Best Wishes, Emma Hotel Manager More

This property offers a very convenient location, nice comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Our room on the second floor (201) was very roomy had a smallish balcony with a view of Bellingham Bay. The Inn is close to everything in Fairhaven and is a great base from which to explore. Old world charm with modern amenities.

Really cozy, clean and in a lovely neighborhood. Easy covered parking and we loved strolling around. The mattress was nice and firm. Coffee and tea available 24 hours. Decor was lovely too. Front desk staff was polite, cordial and well-informed.

Traveling disabled - there is an elevator in the hotel and large spaces in the lobby and hotel rooms. Parking is around back of the hotel, but there is a rear locked entrance into the hotel to the elevator - easy to get in. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. My room was on the harbor side, and had... More

The service is extraordinarily great. Any requests we had were filled immediately and to our satisfaction. Fairhaven is an enchanting and fun place to stay. The Fairhaven Village Inn is a #1 place to stay. Christmas Eve we opened our window to enjoy the Christmas Carols from the village square. This really is our favorite place to stay.

First and foremost, The Fairhaven Village Inn (FVI) is in a great location. Fairhaven itself is very quaint and has many shops and restaurants, along with a fabulous walking trail along the water north of the FVI. The hotel itself boasts of the west facing rooms having a view of Bellingham Bay. We paid the extra money for the west... More

Dear lets_be_honest2, As you pointed out, the Fairhaven neighborhood is a wonderful place to visit with numerous shops, restaurants and trails. It's true, the Inn is not located right on the water. As stated on our website, reservation system and throughout Trip Advisor: "Harborside rooms feature views of Fairhaven's working harbor with a partial bay view". In addition to the... More

The service is amazing! From my booking of the room to check out, everyone was very helpful and available. Cleanliness there is second to none. In all my travels this Inn tops my list of positive experiences since I really do not care much for hotels. The complimentary breakfast had something there for everyone. The hotel was beautifully decorated for... More
