We got there and it was really a beautiful property, the staff was friendly and helpful. We were please with our room, we were on the water so the view was amazing. However, we were told there would be a couple of trains and then it would stop. We found out that the staff lied to us about that. When... More

I've stayed at the Chrysalis twice and it continues to impress me. The hotel feels like a high-end spa throughout, including the rooms. I recommend paying for a full-view room because the views are absolutely breathtaking. Some may not like the train noise so close to the hotel, but my wife and I found it charming and something fun to... More

We only stayed for 1 night, but enjoyed it a lot. The location is nice directly at the water. The room, we had a corner room with ocean view and a fireplace, are nice, especially the open bath (you can open the wall to the bedroom). They provide earplugs because directly in the backyard of the hotel there are trains... More

We stayed at the hotel on Sunday and Monday, in a side, partial view king room. I am writing this review to second the previous ones that strongly recommend the hotel and especially to mention that my husband, who is a light sleeper, had no problem with the trains. We heard them honk their horn during the day and in... More

The trains come by at a fairly routine schedule. While they provide ear plugs (my first clue), nothing can brace you for the vibration, train horn and sounds. Due to our upstairs neighbors deciding to fill their hot tub and run it at midnight, I didn't get to sleep at first until about 1 am (not normal for me). The... More

We have stayed at the Chrysalis 3 times prior and enjoyed our time greatly. The spa and adjacent trail are great. Located close to Fairhaven- plenty to see and do. Unfortunately, our last visit placed us abouve the dining patio where a wedding was taking place. At first, this did not bother us as we were told that the festivities... More

Luxury these days is thrown around way too much. Chrysalis is a nice spot with good food. Overall its a 4 star hotel. Room are comfortable and clean. Spa seemed to be marketed heavily and was tough to find a time to get in for treatments. I don't know if they are understaffed there or just that busy. Overall, nice... More

We found this gem after leaving the Camano Island Inn a day early, disappointed and exhausted from an unpleasant stay. What a difference a day makes! The Chrysalis is beautifully appointed; contemporary in style, with every detail thought of in terms of comfort and luxury. We had a wonderful stay - loved everything about it!

We visited this past week for a wedding and found everything from the view, food, spa and staff to be on point. If you visit, you MUST take advantage of the spa services and see Lisa for a massage! We will be back!

The Chrysalis Inn is a beautiful hotel in a great setting. But the previous reviews saying the train keeps you awake all night are true. To be honest, my husband slept all night without being disturbed. I woke up with every train whistle even with the ear plugs jammed into my ears. So if you are a light sleeper, this... More
