True story: in 1998 after s long plane ride and drive we rolled into town at 1:00 am and we almost stayed in Motel 6 Bellingham. Since that time I have never visited another. First room had hair and a drool mark on the pillow case so we complained and they quickly gave us another room. The second room looked... More

I was balking at staying at a Motel 6 because of past experiences, but I know they're pet friendly and it was a late night when we hit Bellingham, Washington. I was shocked at how they've upgrade their rooms! This room has wood laminate instead of carpet - not sure if it was because we had a pet, but really,... More

clean and quiet(we stayed here a couple years ago also)...it's barebones and nothing fancy. the location is good...I've learned to bring my own clockradio...Bellingham has some very good radio stations on the lower end of the FM dial! Theere is some construction on the non-freeway side that will be noisy until the project is finished.

Like some others, we came here because of the dog policy and the low price. I would have MUCH rather stayed at a more expensive place because the experience was awful. As another reviewer mentioned, my husband and I were required to submit our drivers licenses which no other hotel has ever asked me to do. The noise from the... More

I stayed at a lot of Mottel 6s during my childhood-- anyone with a middle-income family probably did. They're pretty uniform in construction and furnishings, and they have not changed much since the 1980s. This one is no exception and is probably almost exactly the same as every other Motel 6 in the country. We stayed here one night on... More

This Motel 6 needs to be upgraded. Although it is what you would expect, the rooms are in need of renovation. Extremely profound Pine Sol smell. Clean is good, but it seemed that they needed to cover something up. Staff was OK. However spent lots of time outside the office smoking. This lent to a bad smell in the office.... More

This hotel was the only one we could find in town with a room available that took pets. There was parking in front of our room but is was handicapped so we had to park across the street at a restaurant. The room smelled and the air conditioner didn't work. But we only needed it for the night.

I knew we were in trouble when the night attendant was speaking to me through bullet proof glass. The oddest thing ever was that I was required to give my wives I.D. with mine just to rent. Never had that happen before. We rented a non smoking room that wreaked of cigarettes. Rooms on both side of us were smoking... More

We were so lucky to be given a free night stay here by alligent air as they canceled or flight and put us up in this beautiful place. Right on the highway, tiniest rooms I have ever seen for a two double bed room in a hotel. But just as we were about to settle down with our kids my... More

Stayed with a friend and two dogs during a dog show weekend, room was cozy and maybe a little cramped for 2 people, 2 dogs, and crates. Plenty of places to walk dogs and a good Mexican restaurant close by. One negative was the couple next door who were fighting very loudly and made up several times just as loudly.... More
