This has been like no other accommodation we have ever experienced. Returning after a day or activity out was like coming home. All the conveniences you could want with great location and access to Fairhaven or downtown Bellingham. Our host and owner, Sharon Tollefson was charming and gracious and was genuinely attentive about our comfort and stay in our well... More

On Saturday, June 20th, my husband and I attended a friend's wedding reception in Bellingham. A few weeks ago, I looked at options where to spend the night. I looked at hotel and motels in the area, but, nothing was sounding appealing. We had stayed at a few bed and breakfast places in the past and had pretty good experiences.... More

We have a daughter going to school at Western and wanted a place to stay that feels like home. Wow did we find it!!! Close to campus, trails, Fairhaven and such a warm cozy bungalow. We woke up to fresh fruits and the refrigerator stocked with breakfast. This is our new home away from home when visiting our daughter.

Sharon and Jim are thoughtful, welcoming hosts. It's obvious they love doing what they do as they are so very good at it! The suites are extremely clean with all details considered to create a warm and cosy "home" feeling for their guests. The suites provide space and privacy and are conviently located in Old Fairhaven. We plan our trips... More

We booked this place on-line as we were on a road trip to Denver, from British Columbia and were arriving quite late. The price as good and we were presently surprised with our accommodation. We would definately stay here again as it's easier to cross the border at night and get on the road early in the morning, rather than... More

My wife and I are in the middle of a two week stay visiting our kids/grandchildren, and are having an incredible time. If you DON'T like comfort, charm, and convenience then this is NOT the place for you, because the Guest House has it all. We stayed in the one bedroom 'apartment', which included a large bedroom with a very... More

My wife, and 2 daughters stayed 2 nights in the 'apartment' suite at the Guest House. We are so pleased that we spent the additional money for this place as opposed to one of the many roadside hotels in the area as it is peaceful, Sharon the owner made us feel welcome and even had a healthy inventory of items... This hands-down the best B&B I've ever stayed in! Immaculate, beautiful, elegant but still cozy. The full array of complimentary provisions was totally unexpected. A perfect location near the University and Fairhaven District. Sharon was delightful and I feel like I have a new friend. And it was very fairly priced. Sharon thought of every detail and when I was... More
