Foolishly returned here since I had business in Bellingham nearby, gave it another chance. It seems that now Management, in order to conserve on their energy bills, turns the power off on the refrigerator and microwave. There is a small sign above the microwave telling you this which I did not see, and put my work food into the fridge... More

we have gone to Bellingham for the past three years for Xmas shopping. We have stayed at the Econo Lodge every time. It is close to everything, the rooms are clean, and the continental breakfast is very good. I especially like the pancake maker! The staff are very friendly, and very accommodating. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised at our stay at Econolodge, Bellingham. We came for a shopping trip so didn't need to spend alot of time in our room but it was CLEAN, and the beds, amazingly comfortable. I say this because the price is so reasonable. Also the breakfast was wonderful, with even a pancake maker. Friendly service, easy stay, no... More

We stayed one night, a repeat visit from last year. The same receptionist was there and welcomed us with a little Choice Hotels membership gift bag (bottle of water, Amos chocolate chip cookies, mints, a rice krispy treat.) Comfy beds, good wifi connection. Breakfast was included with adequate choices and decent coffee.

The room was clean, right off the freeway for easy access. Quiet. Breakfast was filling enough. Pancakes, cold cereal, toast, pastries, and fruit plenty to get you started. Bed was comfortable. Would stay again.

The bed was comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. I'm always skeptical of bedspreads, so rely on the extra blanket that most places have, but wasn't available in this room. I was great for business, and had a roommate, so was a bit amused that only a single tiny bottle of shampoo was offered. The breakfast was alright, and I... More

We stayed one night on our visit to the local university. Our room was clean and in good repair. The front desk staff were helpful, when we had to ask for an essential item we forgot to bring, they had it handy. We did not utilize any of the hotel amenities except a quick run through the breakfast room and... More

The room was clean, but OMG, the room above me sounded like grand central. The people weren't loud, just very poor insulation between levels. My floor also creaked, popped and made noises that probably bothered the ground floor room beneath me. I stayed for the rate to save a few bucks, but if you are going to spend a lot... More

I got a lot of business taken care that day and it was pleasing to arrive at a lodge that was clean, quiet and had a respectful staff. The room was well equipped with a comfortable bed and bedding for good night sleep.

This motel is older and definitely shopworn. It could use some TLC throughout, especially the laundry room and the guest room that I stayed in. The exterior balconies that circumscribe this motel on each level are tilted downward a bit toward the outside railings, and you might hear some creaking and feel a bit uneasy walking around on them. Also,... More

Feedback from our guests is very important to us. We are sorry that your stay with us was unsatisfactory. Yes it is an older hotel, but we have made many improvements in the last few years. We have upgraded all the linen, painted the building, laid new walkways, (which lean slightly away from the building for rain & snow run... More
