I got a lot of business taken care that day and it was pleasing to arrive at a lodge that was clean, quiet and had a respectful staff. The room was well equipped with a comfortable bed and bedding for good night sleep.

This motel is older and definitely shopworn. It could use some TLC throughout, especially the laundry room and the guest room that I stayed in. The exterior balconies that circumscribe this motel on each level are tilted downward a bit toward the outside railings, and you might hear some creaking and feel a bit uneasy walking around on them. Also,... More

Feedback from our guests is very important to us. We are sorry that your stay with us was unsatisfactory. Yes it is an older hotel, but we have made many improvements in the last few years. We have upgraded all the linen, painted the building, laid new walkways, (which lean slightly away from the building for rain & snow run... More

I know many Econo Lodges and Motel 6's can be sketchy or in run down hoods....but this one is very safe and clean. Lots of families there when I stayed so its popular and appears safe for them. Pool was nice, breakfast was continental (breads, muffins, cereals, but no proteins). Rooms were clean but average for what you expect in... More

Okay, the hotel was a non-chain hotel a decade ago and was pretty sketchy. They redecorated and...its still pretty sketchy. The place is right next to a casino and so you get to deal with the dregs of drunken humanity shouting, sometimes fighting and loud outside the hotel. So, yeah, not a family establishment. But what really grinds my gears... More

I am sorry that there was some misunderstanding concerning our pet policy. Calling the 800# goes to central reservation not the hotel directly. Their agents may not be clear on what our pet policy is. It is described on our web site and states that we take only dogs, (any weight). We have a limited amount of designated rooms for... More

Needed an overnight stay during a very busy Bellingham weekend. Many motels booked up in advance or available at highly inflated prices. This large Econolodge had availability at higher summer rate, convenient off/on freeway location, fairly quiet in spite of so many guests, hard working friendly staff, breakfast buffet constantly replenished. No complaints for our one night stay but not... More

My wife and I stayed there - were in Bellingham overnight for a quick shopping trip. Must have been a few things going on in town, because we couldn't find a reasonably priced room anywhere. Found this one, had never stayed there before, but basically just needed a place to sleep for the night so decided to try it. It... More

fast and courteous front desk staff. Very standard economy rooms. I was just looking to beat the high prices of other Bellingham hotels as there was a large bicycle function in town. Mission accomplished.
