Just as it says and boy did it stink!!!! Yes the furnishings are dated. It seemed to be clean enough. I felt lucky to get this room as it truly was the last available on the island. The fella at the desk checked me in fast and furious as there were many many people behind me and a lot of... More

Very disappointed in the overall quality of the room. Very old and dated. Never have seen a bar of soap that small - really?????? Poor lighting, very old TV that would "freeze" on a channel and never move - finally gave up trying to watch programs. Also had to wait almost an hour to get checked in to our rooms... More

You couldn't pay me to stay here again. My girlfriend and I stayed here on August 30th & 31st in a room with 2 beds. The room looked fine, until I pulled back the comforter to find “remnants” of the previous male guest had been left on the comforter which obviously means it had not been washed. I should have... This Hotel was clean and centrally located for our ferry ride to Seattle. We had a room with a king size bed. It was very comfortable. This is a older hotel. It fit our purposed since we were just sleeping there evenings. It was reasonably priced and allowed us to stay very close to Seattle and take the ferry across... More

Our family has stayed here several times and things were fine. We checked in on Saturday, August 30, 2014. We got back late and just wanted to sleep. In the morning, we noticed how filthy the stove was. There was trash under the sink from the previous tenants. No bath towels, only the small tea towels and wash cloths. My... More

Checked in by a nice gentleman who was willing to address we had reserved a rollaway, even if it wasn't on his paperwork, we pulled up our email, to show we had. With offer of a 2Q unit instead of a king suite didn't seem comparable. Willing to meet or reservations with dry humor, he willingly also re-keyed our keys... More

Worst place ever. Front desk is a joke. Looks like they only hire people with GED's. What they lack in class they make up in laziness. Toilets don't work. They walk into your room unannounced. Smells like cigars & ladies of the night. Puke all over the steps.

We reserved a block of rooms a year in advance for a wedding party. Most of the guests had stayed here before, about 20 years ago. The place has deteriorated greatly and needs a fixup, cleanup and remodel. Beds are uncomfortable and sag. In one room the toilet didn't flush. Needs to have the furnishings and entire room upgraded, freshened... More

We have stayed in Bainbridge frequently over the past 10 years to visit a friend and have stayed here and the nearby Best Western, which is newer and more updated than the Island Country Inn (BW is a bit more in price). Both are well located. We stayed in the Island Country Inn last week and it was fine. However,... More

The room was clean but very outdated. We were missing our screen so we couldn't let in the fresh air. We could hear the traffic but did not hear any noise from the neighboring rooms. We asked for suggestions at the desk on what to see on the island and they were not able to give us one suggestion. All... More
