Wow! This guest house is so quiet at night you can hear a pin drop. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation and a clean comfortable place to stay with a great view from the balcony, you have to give Skiff Point a try. The owner is as nice and helpful as it gets. I stayed in the carriage... More

I don't get it why they charge so high for an average place to stay. Old kitchen appliances. old and very loud heater especially at night. Do yourself a favor and find some place else to stay in the area.

The Carriage House has been updated since you have stayed here back in November of 2012. It is very important to Skiff Point Guest House & Retreat that our guests enjoy their visit and are comfortable. This suite you stayed in which was in need of a heater replacement "so sorry it was loud". Since you have stayed here in... More

Skiff Guest House has very strict cancellation rules. If you need to cancel 30 days in advance you will be charged an 80.00 fee - plus! We needed to cancel a week before because work would not permit leaving at that particular time. Skiff Point Guest House graciously kept our 900 dollars fee - NO REFUND! You need to send... More

It is unfortunate when things get cancelled. At Skiff Point Guest House I am always happy to accomodate the Guest in anyway I can. Eventhough a reservation was cancelled and notice was given less then the days stated, Skiff Point Guest House will work with you in re-scheduling your vacation and happy to do so. More

We stayed in the carriage house from 5-7 August 2011. Had a wonderful time. Carriage House had everything you could need and the owner and her daughter could not have been any nicer.

If only the weather hadn't been so bad for our entire stay! We stayed in the loft, which was well equipped and cozy, and the perfect size for a couple. Everything was spotless. You do need to be prepared to climb up and down the ladder to the bedroom, so if you've got a fear of heights, stay in the... More

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay for our first time away from our young daughters. I wanted to be close to home but still feel like we were far away and Skiff Point was the ideal place to stay. Our loft was super clean and the bed was pure comfort. Jan, the proprietor, is a... Perfect place to stay if you want quiet, comfort, and room to move around. The carriage house has a comfortable bedroom, nice living area, well equipped kitchen. It was immaculately clean! Balcony overlooking Puget Sound with a view of the Seattle skyline. Wonderful breakfast of fruit, bagels and muffins in the refrigerator for our first morning. Beautiful island with great... More

As I write this, I'm sitting in the living room in the Carriage House at the Inn, overlooking the Puget Sound, with snowcapped mountains in the distance. My husband and I came upon this place when looking for something special and we cannot imagine anything more special than this. The Carriage House is a delight! A lofted space, with huge... More

This place was great! Great views, great bed in a loft, great facilities, great service, nice lighting. Very close to Seattle. Very relaxing. However, they could afford to buy a better TV. Also, No internet. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Guest House for 5 days and had the most wonderful experience in our life! We loved the Skiff Point Guest House's panaramic view of the most magnificient mountian ranges and Puget Sound. The House was tastefully decorated and filled with anything we needed to make us comfortable, including a delicious basket of food in the refridgerator... More
