I can't say enough about this B&B! Everything that has been said is true. it's a wonderfully inn, and staying here IS the occasion. If you want a luxurious weekend getaway, stay here and feel pampered.

Stopped in overnight two weeks ago. This was probably our fourth stay at Trinkle Mansion. We had forgotten how truly beautiful this mansion is. It's perfectly restored. All of the rooms are well done and inviting. The dining room happened to be decorated for Easter, and it was just gorgeous. Patti and Bernie, the owners, are both so gracious and... More

What we planned to use for an overnight stay while traveling to Atlanta, was more than that. The beautiful mansion was first class, as was the wonderful breakfast. Patti was so welcoming and helpful that I knew we made the right decision to use this as the overnight stay on the return also. Restaurants in Wytheville are walkable so after... More

We have stayed at the Trinkle Mansion before, and always thorougly enjoyed ourselves. This visit was no different, but involved some h-a-r-d mountain driving to get to Wytheville after a family funeral in central West Virginia. The steam shower in the Rosspoint Room is a personal favorite of mine for helping ease the aches and pains away before venturing out... More

I felt I stepped back into the old south when I entered the mansion. The house has been lovingly restored and the modern conveniences did not clash with the old world elegance and charm. My room was very comfortable and the bathroom luxurious. The owners are generous with their time and the food is superb. Thank you for making my... More

From the moment we were welcomed into the large central hallway, we were made to feel at home. This grand old historic home has been lovingly and expertly restored and elegantly furnished. Maintenance is tops - the interior looks fresh and perfect. The house exudes warmth and charm, as does its hostess and host. Upstairs, the splendor continues with inviting... More

On our way to and from Charleston, South Carolina, we were seeking a comfortable and lovely place to spend the night. Starting from Aurora, Ohio (near Cleveland), we checked a map to see what was midway and discovered Wytheville. Knowing we wanted to stay at a B&B, we decided upon the Trinkle Mansion after visiting the website. While the pictures... More

A beautiful old mansion, lovingly restored, with all the modern conveniences. The house and the rooms are beautiful, spotless and comfortable; the bathrooms large and modern. The breakfast was delicious. There is even a home theater in the basement, where guests can watch tv or DVD movies. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The house is listed on the National... More

What a beautiful, elegant, charming B&B in a small quiet town. We loved everything about it. The owners are super friendly and helpful without being in your way. We loved hearing stories from both about travel and food and gourmet cooking. The several-course breakfast was fabulous, served in a beautiful, elegant dining room on fine china. The room was thoughtfully... More

This was and is the best by far! My husband and I will be staying here again very soon! The atmosphere was great. We never had an interest in staying at a B&B. We decided to go for our Valentine's weekend. It was more than we expected!! All of the house guests were awesome and none of us wanted to... More

Thank you so much, Courtney, for choosing us as your first bed & breakfast stay. And thank you for the great comments. It was such fun visiting with you and your husband, and we hope you will return to visit really soon. Remember the New River is just east of here, and it's a great place to spend a leisurely...
