Read the other recent reviews and can, for the most part, agree. Not the place for an extended stay as it is right off the highway, not only the noose was distracting but watching the cars and trucks whiz by didn't help. The spaces are very tight and the place could be laid out much better. Did not enjoy having... More

We had a group of 9 adults and 2 small children. We booked a tent site and a cabin. The tent site was so small we had to pitch the tent on the stones where we were meant to park. The cabin was as we expected, a double bed with a bunk and another bunk bed. The fire ring that... More

Geared for relaxation. I loved the fact that we could stay at the camper and play board games, go swimming, play arcade, ride bikes or just take a walk. Not a lot of planned activities so a great time for families to connect. Pristine and pet friendly.

I will never return to this campground. NavyCorpsman02 has it right...."So rude." The staff is very untrusting of it's guests, especially the manager who passes himself off as the owner when asked who he was. He trolls the property with his golf cart like the Head Warden. His personality is especially irritating. This place has more rules than a board... More

I'm going to list facts about Candy Hill. It is very close to the highway and it is very noisy. The staff is extremely untrusting of their campers and monitor you 24/7 on golf carts, but campers are not allowed to use their own personal golf carts. I counted over 10 golf carts that the staff uses to roam the... More

Nice RV spots. Off the highway but the noise wasn't bad. Not crowded and enjoyed walking around the camp. Laundry was clean and fast. The guy working at the store didn't seem to want to be there, other than that the place was fine.

This campground is extremely strict with their rules, including the hidden ones not listed. The not only harassed our visitors but took unauthorized pictures of us setting up our camper. We wasn't even there 5 minutes and was getting a "talk". They proceeded to knock on the camper at 10p waking up our child to warn us about our visitor... More

We stop here on our trips back & forth to Florida when we take the Route 81 route. It's very convenient with easy access to Route 81. Last night it was raining very hard so we only hooked up electric & cable. The cable reception was very bad & you couldn't watch tv. I was not advised there was a... More
