We visited the Hampton Inn UnivsityMall in Winchester on May1,2,3, 2008. For our annual visit to the Shenandoah Aple Blossum Festival. As always our room was as requeste. As a Hilton Honors member in good standing. I always receive exceptional service. Since this is a very busy weekend. My room was ready when We arrived. Checking in was prompt. The... more

The four of us (my wife, my 19-year-old son, my 11-year-old daughter, and I) were very comfortable in this room, which had a king-size bed, a sleeper-sofa, and a cot (for which we paid an extra $10/night). There were two ac units in this room which worked ok (my wife thinks the unit near the king-size bed was not strong... more

I stayed at this Hampton because they were the closest Hilton property to where I was working and I am a Hilton Honors member. When I booked the reservation with them over the phone I could hear another employee cursing very loudly at another person. I simply forgot about it until I checked in when a young thin lady who... more

I was able to redeem my Hilton Honors points for a one night stay here. The location was right in the middle of everything, but I also found it difficult to get to- my GPS had a problem finding the place. The room was a bit smaller, but the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean. It was... more

To start off, I really like the Hampton Inn chain, especially their newer or renovated properties that have very thoughtful and well done amenities. That is what makes this hotel standout poorly in my estimation, as it's an older property, with what I felt were very small rooms. The hotel staff was pleasant, and the hotel is in a good... more

Stayed here one night on the way home from a trip to D.C. It's about an hour away from Washington. We arrived around 9:00 p.m., and the check-in was the quickest ever. (I was glad since I was tired). We got an special internet rate since we booked a room with one double bed. It was at the end of... more

Room was King with Sofabed that was of decent size. All systems worked well and hotel/room was clean and modern with pleasant ambience. Service is excellent. Only problem (not hotel's fault) is that surrounding street pattern makes it confusing to get into hotel from I-81 - need to stay to the right (stay on US 50, but sign partially hidden... more

No problems at all, but the room was smaller than normal for a Hampton Inn. Staff was great. more

This Hampton Inn had the same very clean and well-maintained rooms we have experienced with many of the other locations we have visited. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. The bathroom did have a smaller counter than usual but still had enough space for our stuff. The breakfast had plenty of healthy, fresh foods along with the not-so-healthy.... more

Spent one night here to visit Shenandoah University. It is very convienent to the University. The mall is close by, as is several eating places. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. A nearby water main break meant we had no water most of the night. We were notified of this. This was not the hotels fault, but... more
