Me & a friend, were heading home to N.Y., after going to the Shenandoah Mts. & checked into the Travellodge, Room#146 (?), right in front of outside door. Got in room & pulled back the comforter & sheet's & under pillow, ran a LIVE small/ugly bug!. Then I saw the BIG Centipede with creepy leg's!. I called the front desk... more

The staff and the manager were very nice. Despite the trouble I would stay at this hotel again. The rumor was that some guests on the 2nd or 3rd floor were setting off fire crackers and it triggered the fire alarm, around 1AM. Fire trucks, police cars and their sirens; along with a blaring fire alarm were present for over... more

I stayed here in February for $58.00 on a Monday. Room was okay, although I was waaaaaay down the hall alone (unsafe but after 2 previous rooms there had broken t.v. and a toilet issue, everything worked in this one AND try to find a room a DOG hasn't been allowed in.....difficult.). The next morning when I checked out, I... more

The room was ok but the billing process left something to be desired. My wife and I made reservations through cheap tickets and when we checked in I gave the confirm number and the person at the desk charged us 61$ and change for the room. Being a newby at using on line booking I thought that was the program.... more

I had two occasions to be traveling up on I-81 in Winchester this August. The first time, I was with my son and his friend, and we found a coupon for the Travelodge in the highway coupon books you find at the rest areas. The rate was VERY reasonable, so we gave it a try. We found the room to... more

We were traveling I-81 and stopped at the Travelodge for one night. It was wonderful. I grew up stopping at the hotel on family trips and so we decided to see how it was now. First of all the location is wonderful! Right off I-81 and lots of great places to grab dinner. Plus you have a microwave and fridge... more

Room was average. The beds were nice with nice bedspreds, blankets and sheets. The bathroom you could tell had been upgraded within the last couple of years. The Carpet was in rotten shape. Didn't even want to walk bare foot on the floors, especially near entry way. The desk chair had a big stain or water mark on the seat.... more

Honored discount coupon on a holiday. Pulled off the highway on New Year's Eve and found the staff to be friendly and happy! Room was warm and cozy with awesome quality sheets. more

We, too, stayed here four nights for dog shows, but since it was our national specialty we got a special rate of $60/night! The room was large and clean but terribly dark. The maid was extremely accommodating considering how may schnauzers she had to contend with! The continental breakfast was better than most--included hard-boiled eggs and cook-your-own waffles. We were... more

I was in the area for dog shows. I had reservations at the nearby Red Roof, but I was trying to check in at noon, they wouldn't accommodate me until 3, and I had two hot and panting dogs in the car. So I ended up here. Although the rate was $15 more than I would have paid at the... more
