We had a wonderful stay at this B&B and it really felt like we were just guests at a friends house. With only 4 rooms this out of the way B&B has plenty to offer. A great breakfast, comforts of home (24/7 fridge and Keurig), cozy appointments and places to relax. It's very centrally located to most all the attractions... More

Thank you so much for your kind and honest review! We are so glad you enjoyed your weekend with us and that you appreciated the small and not so small touches we try to provide. It is a bit tricky to make sure everyone is comfortable with heat as some like it hotter and some cooler, we do however, start... More

Although the rooms are a bit dated, overall this is a wonderful place to stay. The bed was comfortable, the staff was very helpful and polite, the price reasonable and the location convenient. We stayed a few nights and enjoyed it very much.

My husband and I planned to elope at Colonial Gardens. Coordinating and planning with Jennifer was so easy and she was incredibly helpful. A week before out elopement we decided to have our parents attend and then 2 days before we decided to have our immediate family attend.....long story. I had to contact Jennifer numerous times to change plans and... More

Colonial Gardens provides a quiet refuge from any tourist bustle and the workaday world. It is a bit removed, geographically, from Colonial Williamsburg, Market Square, and New Town (not far by car). The B&B features a luxe décor, with comfortable bedding and bathroom linens, and robes and slippers in each room. Rooms are en suite (have an attached bathroom). Guests... More

We enjoyed our stay at the B & B. The breakfast was delicious. We stayed 2 nights in the Primrose room. It was roomier than what the pictures show which was a plus. The bathroom was large too. The robes were very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable we slept well both nights. Jennifer was the best hostess. We loved... More

Our room was spacious with updated furnishing and plenty of drawer space and closets. The inn is immaculate with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The morning breakfasts are served... More

My husband and I selected the Colonial Gardens for our week-long stay in the Williamsburg area to celebrate our Honeymoon. We were not disappointed! From the moment you park in the quaint driveway you feel the secluded atmosphere...which is lovely considering it is situated on a main road (close to everything). Jennifer met us at the door and was a... More

This inn displays elegance that makes you feel right at home as soon as you enter the Inn. Nicely appointed rooms and the atmosphere of the inn is calming and laid back. Having stayed at b&b's throughout the New England area over the last 8 years, we've come to expect certain things, first and foremost; hospitality. The fun of staying in a b&b in an historic area/house is to learn the history of the property and little local tid bits of the area. Our welcome tour consisted of, " here's the living... More
