If you like the charm and atmosphere of period rooms from colonial times, this B&B should be on your list. The owners have invested a great deal of time and energy into making each of the rooms reflective of the individual for whom they are named. Good location and personable staff, as well as surprisingly large rooms make the stay... more

Very nice home, well kept with nice furnishings. Super location accross from the College of William and Mary and a few blocks from the heart of historic Williamsburg. Friendly host and the food served at breakfast is wonderful. Since it is buffet style (hosted), breakfast time can be flexible between 8 am and 9:30 am. Self serve snacks are available... more

I can't write all the many things that are great about The Cedars. We loved it! We stayed in the Christopher Wren Anniversary/Honeymoon room. It was beautiful, comfortable and very romantic. We can't wait to go back again!!! Oh, and the Peach Cobbler was so very delicious!!!!! I would love to have the recipe. more

The food and hosts were wonderful and the room was beautiful! The Cedars staff makes you feel very special and go all out to make sure that everything is to your liking! We wished our bathroom was a little larger (we stayed in the Plantation room), but overall the room was lovely. more

The staff was so friendly and really went out of their way to know everyone's names, recognize personal events (birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons, etc). The accomodations were very pretty as well as clean. The food was delicious. We would definitely go back in a heartbeat! more

We celebrated our 1st anniversary with a trip to The Cedars, having discovered it online just a few weeks before... and we had a wonderful time! The house is a gorgeous 3-story house across the street from William & Mary, and a 10 min. walk from Colonial Williamsburg. The housekeeping staff keeps everything impeccably clean; the rooms are beautifully decorated... more

The Christopher Wren room was incredible! Warm, romantic and quiet on the third floor. Staff was very friendly and was entertained in the morning by the owner pouring our coffee. I would highly recommend this B&B and hope to return for our next anniversary. Another plus was the Cedars is only 1/2 mile from Colonial Williamsburg. more

This was our fourth trip to Williamsburg, and our fourth stay at the Cedars. We won't stay anywhere else when we come to Williamsburg, because the Cedars is our home away from home. The house is always spotless, the staff always goes out of their way to make you feel at home and help you in any way that they... more
