Maybe we caught them on an off day, but my family of 4 was not happy with this place. Upon arriving, we were greeted by someone who knew nothing about the area, nothing about the breakfast the next morning, and made us very uncomfortable. We had the 2 rooms in the stand-alone unit, and they were, as my teenage kids... More

We weren't able to stay here due to scheduling conflicts, but Bob was extremely helpful and understanding when we had to call to cancel! I can't wait to visit them when our schedules allow! Thank you Cedars

This was everything advertised! My husband and I spent 3 nights in a very comfortable and clean room. It was a birthday weekend and we received a cake (strawberry shortcake..my favorite) chocolate covered strawberries...and rose petals on the bed! This was our first stay in a B&B and we will be back. Loved how close it was to Colonial Williamsburg... More

We came to visit our grandson at W&M and to see the DaVinci exhibit. It was great to stay so close to the campus and we felt very welcome by the friendly host. The B&B is within walking distance to most of the historic areas in Williamsburg and right across the street from a performing Arts Center. We’ll gladly return.

I stayed at the Cedars whilst visiting my daughter at William and Mary. The guest house is charming with a variety of delightful bedrooms designed to catch the atmosphere of colonial Williamsburg. I stayed in the Martha Washington room which was perfect for a solo traveller. The Cedars provides all the essentials, great wifi, comfortable bedroom, a warm welcome and... More

Although my friend and I spent only one night here in order to see the DaVinci exhibit across the street at the College of Wm. & Mary, it was quite enjoyable. The Peyton Randolph room is in a little cottage behind the main house. Very charming, cozy, and quiet with a King bed and daybed too. The fireplace warmed up... More

Greetings Sisflynn, Thanks for the very kind words. We are happy you short visit was so good . I think I shared with you that we get our coffee water right from the James River, just south of the nuclear power plant...we do take the chunks out! ;-) We look forward to a future stay. We stayed in the Jefferson room on the top floor which was pleasantly quiet & spotlessly clean. Loved the close proximity to William & Mary campus. Bob could not have been more helpful and went above and beyond in making sure that we were comfortable and even drove us to the train station on Valentines Day to catch our train.... More

My wife and I stayed at Cedar's only for one evening, but we very much enjoyed our stay. The location is great; within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg and the William & Mary campus. The house has a very nice, old colonial style and the bedrooms were quite comfortable. Bob also did a great job interacting with guests and offered... More

We always stayed at the Boxwood Inn in Williamsburg for our getaways. Now that it is closed we are looking for another B&B. We tried the Cedars, and stayed in the Marsha Washington room. Bob is very involved and makes you feel welcome. He seems to like photography a lot so be prepared. Our room was on the small side,... More

Hi Phil, Thanks for the feedback. The Martha Washington Room is our smallest (and least expensive) room. Although quite comfortable by most accounts is small. It does have a queen size bed, a lounge chair and writing desk. It is a good choice though for folks on a budget. Particularly since we have our normal rates cut by 25% during... More

My wife and I stayed at Cedars to celebrate New Year's Eve at Williamsburg's First Night. Bob and his staff were wonderful and made us feel right at home. The location is great and you are able to walk to most of the attractions.
