My husband and I stayed at Cedars B&B to celebrate our five year anniversary and were spoiled by the owner and staff from the moment we arrived! We booked the anniversary/romance package which included a beautiful bouqet of roses in our room, chocolates, a photo shoot, a reservation at a restaurant of our choice, and there was a congratulations sign... I thought this was a great B&B. My wife and I stayed over for a long weekend and the location is great as well as the owner Bob. He was very helpful with restaurant recommendations, how to plan your day and was very funny over breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic everyday and always included cheesy eggs, fruit salad and a variety... More

Hi JB, Outstanding. We appreciate the kind words and feedback. We work hard to provide a pleasant experience and it is nice to know, in this case, we succeeded. PS. We used to have trampolines instead of steps for that room but guests were getting caught up in the ceiling fans! ;-) Have a wonderful holiday. Grace & Bob Tubbs... More

My wife and I love Colonial Williamsburg so much that we have returned to it once or twice a year for the past 34 years from the Pittsburgh area and went so far as building a reproduction house. This was our very first stay at the Cedars B&B and it certainly won't be our last. The house, cottage and property is... More

Great little place right next to William and Mary and downtown. Bob the owner is top notch guy. The rooms were very good and place had free wifi. We enjoyed walking from the old town area and then walking thru the college

Our stay was extremely enjoyable. We were made to feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Our host has a great sense of humor and is very personable, he adds much to the stay. We would definitely go there again and recommend that you try it.

Lovely house, tastefully decorated bedroom, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, 10/15 mins walk to the Colonial Town and restaurants. Bob is a warm and welcoming host who has clearly missed his vocation as a stand-up comic - entertaining - if you enter into the delightfully silly spirit of his welcome you will have an enjoyable and "one off" time at Cedars... Greetings Malcolm, Thanks for the warm and genuine review. We sincerely appreciate it. If you can arrange a spot on Britain's Got Talent, I will make the trip and give you a finder's fee to boot! I sincerely hope our paths cross again. Have a wonderful holiday with you and yours. All the best. Grace & Bob Tubbs & Staff More

We booked two nights at Cedars of Williamsburg on the strength of positive TripAdvisor reviews, but were disappointed with our actual stay. By far the biggest plus about Cedars is its location, right next to The College of William and Mary and a short walk to Merchant's Square and Colonial Williamsburg. The negatives are as follows: First, even though our... More

Cedars B+B is located right across the street from the beautiful Willam and Mary campus, and is a 10 minutes walk to colonial Williamsburg. We stayed in the Christopher Wren room, a charming, large room on the 3rd floor, with a four poster king sized bed, sitting area, and nice views of the campus and the B+B garden. The entire... More

Thanks Di2101, The Christopher Wren, our honeymoon/anniversary suite, it our most popular room. We appreciate the fact that you noticed all the details. It is rewarding to know our efforts are noticed and appreciated. Breads, I will talk to the chef about making breads. We did that several years ago but somehow stopped. I can't remember why! I'll look into... More

We didn't know what to expect, as we'd received a gift certificate to the Cedars and subsequently planned a two-night stay. What we found is that it was a quite pleasant, relaxing experience, and we enjoyed spending time chatting with Bob (the owner) and enjoy Sarah's breakfasts. Admittedly, for the price, there aren't a lot of frills. We got a... More

Dear Marsh970, It is great to hear that you enjoyed your "first B&B" visit. We hope you it will not be your last experience with us! The Lord Bourtetourt is a very popular room with it's summer garden views and winter gas fireplace..very cozy, comfortable and private. I will make sure to share you comments with the staff. Our recent four-day visit at the Cedars of Williamsburg was our best ever B & B experience, and we've stayed at many B & Bs over the years. The service by the owner (Bob) and the staff were truly exceptional, as was the food, the location and the condition of the dwelling. We will recommend the Cedars of Williamsburg to... More
