We have stayed at Applewood for the last 4 or 5 years around Christmas time. We fell in love with this place after our first visit. Denise and Monty have gone out of their way to make us feel right at home each time. We enjoy the wonderful conversations and delicious breakfast. We usually stay in the Twin Elms room... More

One of the most comfortable places I have stayed away from home. Clean, cozy, and just a short walk to the town square. Perfect for couples! The room was beautifully decorated with antiques giving it a unique charm. A must stay!

I've been coming to Williamsburg for 30 years, and can't believe I only just now discovered Applewood. I never want to stay anywhere else again. The Tree Top Suite was perfect for me, my husband and our teen son. The service and location is wonderful. Denise and Monty were warm hosts. I almost did not want to post a review,... More

We totally enjoyed our 2 night stay at Applewood. It's a beautiful home, built in the 30s, furnished with interesting antique furniture. The bedroom (Twin Elms) was appointed with all the modern necessities including mini fridge, flat screen TV, good shower with plenty of hot water. The beds in each room are queens I believe. Being an antique, ours was... More

We spent 2 nights this past weekend at the Applewood Colonial B&B for our first visit to Williamsburg. We were greeted by a warm smile and amazing Snickerdoodle cookies!! Denise and Monty were friendly and thoughtful, doing all they could to make us feel like this was our home away from home. We stayed in the Twin Elms room, which... More

We spent six days at the Applewood Colonial B&B and loved every minute of it! First of all, location - for the first time while visiting Colonial Williamsburg, we were able to park the car and walk to most of the attractions we wanted to visit. It was an easy walk to CW and Merchants Square (with loads of restaurants... More

My husband and I were thrilled with our stay here and frankly sad to leave. The owners are the sweetest couple who really bend over backwards to to assist you.
