We've stayed here on several occasions while visiting Busch Gardens, the most recent was 12/16/2014. The Budget Inn is not a luxurious establishment, nor should you expect it to be for the price you pay. It's a decent room with comfortable beds and a warm shower with good water pressure. The housekeeping is sufficient and the heat/air conditioning always work.... More

Clean, close to Restored area and a short hop to Busch Gardens. Staff helpful and friendly. We spent 3 nights. 2 days at Howl O'Scream at Busch Gardens. All we did was sleep there. As for most of these small motels, the decor is very dated. Had a fridge. great price!!!

The Good: Price, location, friendly/helpful owner/manager The Bad: I got the impression part of the hotel is rented out to "live-in" tenents who I found to be a bit on the seedy side. The electrical outlets did not seem safe (they pulled out from the wall) and there were not enough of them. There was a lamp on my husband's... More

Hotel was small quaint little "Budget Inn" that is just that, within a budget. The hotel owner was nice enough to let us see the room before actually spending our money. He advised if we didn't like it, we didn't have to stay. He was very kind. The room again was not the Hilton however, it was nice and clean.... More

Our double room was huge and had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Clean! Conveniently located near all the attractions with a pancake house next door. You will drive past a line of chain hotels charging double the price (we paid $58, which is insane during tourist season). Looked to be family run - friendly staff happy to help us... More

This little hotel is perfect for a cheap overnight when you expect no amenities and are looking for no frills. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms are a bit outdated and 'old' looking but it was sufficient for a place to shower and crash at a very low price and there is a very good... More

I wasn't expecting much from this motel given the low cost of the room, however on walking into the room realised I had snagged a bargain. I was in a room with a king sized bed, in the block of 4 right at the back of the complex. Comfy bed, clean room and bathroom, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and plenty... More

I booked my room online for about half the price of other rooms in the area. The room was clean and the wifi worked well. In my brief interaction with the owner he seemed sincerely interested in my comfort. As others have mentioned, I could hear conversations in the rooms around me and the room did have a mildewy odor.... More

Clean, front desk guy very nice, would return, if I had to complain about anything it would be a stain on the wall in the bathroom by the shower that wasn't appealing. We went to Busch Gardens for the day and was so glad to have stayed at a nice place and affordable too!

When I made reservations at a place called Budget Inn for $35 a night, I wasn't expecting the Waldorf Astoria. Upon checking in, it was pretty much how I thought it would be. It's an older roadside motel type place. Very worn in and a bit musty however the staff apparently keeps it clean. Very convenient to the attractions in... More
