Sites too small for the size of the motorhomes. Glass all over the site. They do not allow you to reserve a site ( most campgrounds do). They took my requests but did not honor it. Some sites are ok but totally disappointed. The staff was friendly but overall very disappointed in the amount of money we spent and the... More

We arrived during a slush covered, cold evening at this KOA late at night. We had arrangements made beforehand of the arrival time and for a Lodge. As soon as we arrived, the paperwork and instructions were there and the Lodge was already heated and prepared with basic items. Even the TV remote worked with no problems! The Lodge was... More

This is the typical KOA campground only it has a large recreational grass field at the back great for dog walking. Facility is clean and staff efficient. We stayed two days and it was very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg. The only complaint was their wifi. Even though we complained, apparently they just don't have enough bandwidth. It was almost useless.... More

There are actually two connected areas - 'Colonial' and 'Williamsburg'. Check-in is at Camp Store in Colonial Section, which is first you come to if arriving from I-64. We stayed 2 nights in Colonial section in pop-up camper. Campground was probably about half full, mostly RVs. It was late in season, so pool was closed, but small gameroom was open.... More

This campground may have nice campsites if you pay the high range, but if you are trying to save money...try somewhere else. Their "Classic" sites are a glorified gravel pit. Not level, picnic tables tilting, fire ring about 25 feet from the table. It was the worst $50 campsite I can even imagine, much less have to pay for. If... More

Our Cub Scout pack drove down from the Richmond area to camp here for a weekend in October. The reservation process for our group was very easy. They give a special rate to Scout groups, which is nice. The staff -- especially Teddy and Peter -- were helpful and very cheerful. We stayed in tent sites, which were fine. The... More

We spent 7 glorious fall days visiting the historic sights and special events at Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. We then spent 2 additional days visiting the lighthouses of the Chesapeake Bay Area and Virginia Beach. We found this campground to be very convenient, shaded, and peaceful...a perfect launch point for all these adventures. KOA staff was friendly and very helpful.... More

We camp here every year and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and the facility is great for families! My children love the jumping pillow and the pool. We like to stay here because it is so close to Busch Gardens. This is the best campground in the area!
