We spent three days at the Estates immediately after Thanksgiving. The place was pretty quiet and it appeared that many of the units were empty. The apartment was clean, well appointed and comfortable with all the bits and pieces one could need. There was a full sized oven, refrigerator and a microwave. The kitchen itself is very small but who... More

We exchanged our time share through Interval International and specifically traded into the "Estates" section of this resort because it was the newest area. We normally get a 2 bedroom but gambled on a one bedroom for a family of 4 as we decided that we would prefer a new, clean unit that was smaller over a 2 bedroom that... More

After reading so many negative reviews about the 'Cottages,' we were very leary about this place. After a very quick check-in (an hour early), we easily found our assigned unit (#102-C). Each unit has three apartments, two on the first floor and the third upstairs. Unfortunately, we weren't told ours was the second floor unit having a very steep staircase!... More

Check in was delayed as cottage was not ready on time and we had to wait till 5:30 to check in. Turned out ok as we were able to explore in the area in daylight and gets some idea of of distances and what was around. Biggest problem was driving at night as there are few street or high way... More

We stayed at this resort the first week of Nov. 2011. We had booked the 1 bedroom cottages. I will say, I did see pics. on T.A. prior to the stay and had mixed feelings. Upon entering the unit, we were in shock. The entire unit was smaller than many hotel rooms we have stayed at in NYC. This was... More

Place was good from far but far from good. We stayed at the Townes part of the development. Check in was easy. The townes are outdated - tube TV's - shocking. And worst of all, construction on these units are paper thin! You can hear people breathing, phones ringing, doors closing etc.! Have to be completely under heavy alcohol or... More

We checked into the "Estates" on 10/29/11 and stayed for one week. This place was a good place to stay while we toured many of the historic sites in Virginia. The Estates are conveniently located between Yorktown and Colonial Williamsburg and is very close to the Water Park, too. Our unit was the bottom floor unit: One bedroom, bath, and... More

Our family stayed in the Estates at Kings Creek Plantation for 3 nights while visiting and touring Colonial Williamsburg and the area. We liked the overall design of the Estates, which gave the impression that we were staying in a home and not in a hotel. The rooms were decently sized, clean and comfortable, but not luxurious. A minimal amount... More

My husband and I stayed at Kings Creek Estates for one week in October 2011. We had a one bedroom suite with a king size bed. I am a little germophobic and when I go to hotels I bring disinfectant wipes, etc. When I did my "once through" I came away with totally clean wipes. We had a very large... More
