Nicely groomed area as you enter the complex, but you soon see the "tightness" of everything. We stayed in a 2 bedroom townhome.... were the only ones in this particular bldg of 3... and yet they put us on the 2nd floor ???? You need a room key to enter both entrance doors but they did put a door hold... More

We stayed a week in a 2 BR unit in the "cottages" section, which while OK, were very average. On the positive side, the space is large - two good size bedrooms, both with their own bathroom, another half bath downstairs. Free wi-fi also nice. On the downside, it's not the luxury experience they'd have you believe. First, with anything... More

We purchased a package which included 4 nights plus options on 2 sets of tickets to Colonial Williamsburg or Busch Gardens or Jamestown with some other options and unlimited golf (plus cart fee) for $298 (prepaid), at our local golf show. We did not know it was a timeshare until after we had made up our minds to buy it.... More

After reading some reviews, I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the one bedroom unit we stayed in. This was an RCI exchange and we were placed in a cottage. It seemed like the unit was newly refurbished, except for the carpet, which was fine, but a little lumpy in places. Many reviews say that the... More

Our family of 6 stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage for 3 nights. To say this place is average is too big of a stretch. There are upsides: the aquatic center was nice, with a big pool. Yes, chlorine levels were very high, but for a resort, I'm ok with that. There are other resort amenities (mini golf and playground),... More

Most of the people were kind except for one sales manager. The room seemed small and the stove and fridge seemed rather old. We were told there were newer units, but we didn't know this until later in our stay. Can't see my family returning given the cost to rent per their website.

Welcomed by friendly staff. We stayed at the Townes. Loved the bright modern and colonial decor. Clean and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Very relaxing. Close to grocery store, restaurants, Colonial Williamsburg and winery. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Some friends of ours bought a 3-night stay at King's Creek Plantation for $200 with the stipulation that you had to attend a 90 minute timeshare presentation. We were told we would have a house for our 6 people to stay at, but instead were given a 2 bedroom apartment with a weird 3rd room that had a glass front... More

Our experience was very disappointing. The check in process was quick and did not give us much information about how things worked. There was no info in room about housekeeping guidelines or where things were located in room. When I called housekeeping about getting extra towels, they informed us it would be $2.50 per towel. There were no sheets or... More

This is just a review of the property and how it was run. First of all let me say that we brought our one year old twin grandsons and four year old grand daughter. So that's not an easy group to travel with! We stayed in cottage 104 which is about as remote as you can get. It's been quiet.... More
