My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip. The room was great and the food was delicious. Additionally, they had an option to either sit at the big dining table with other folks or sit as a couple in separate dining area. It was a nice a treat for my husband and I to be able to sit... We spent two nights at the White House on our recent road trip. Our hosts were helpful, informative and absolutely outstanding. The included breakfasts were absolutely delicious and served in the dining room. Crockery, cutlery and table appointments were of outstanding quality and the whole atmosphere was of elegance and calm. On both mornings we enjoyed very pleasant company with... More

We went in May with my son and his US girfriend - they live in DC. The accomodation was excellent we shared a sort of a two room suite with our own en suites. The welcome and guidance and help was very good and the hosts clearly still enjoy their B&B as much as the guests. Breakfasts were varied and... More

This amazing B&B is right across the street from The College of William and Mary, a perfect place to stay for visiting the University. It is only a 4 block walk to Historic Colonial Williamsburg, with many selections for fine dining and shopping. The B&B has beautiful Presidential Suites and a wonderful JFK Library with a sitting room. The full... More

This was one of the finest B&B's we have had the pleasure to stay in. The hospitality of our host and hostess were wonderful and they have created a charming B&B with a decor that includes many pictures and artifacts associated with the White House and it's occupants. We enjoyed the Lincoln bedroom with the replica of the Ford's theater... More

What a fun B&B! :) we stayed in the Lincoln Bedroom and loved every second! From the location (nice walk through William and Mary to all the shops, restaurants and colonial Williamsburg) to the absolutely delicious breakfast each morning the Williamsburg White House was a wonderful way to start and end our days! The inn keepers were so kind and... More

The room was musty and just seemed old. But the issues we had are customer-service related. 1. It took a couple of hours to track down the WIFI password (why not just put a card with this information in the room??). By the time we ate dinner and returned to the room, those extra hours were precious. 2. After being... More

This is our fifth time staying at the "Whitehouse" and each time it has only gotten better. The rooms are clean and very comfortable while offering an abundance of period decorating. But what really makes the "Whitehouse" a five star B and B are the hosts, Debbie and John. Debbie really knows how to make a deliscious breakfast.

We only got to spend one night at this luxurious inn, but hopefully we will get back one day. We stayed in the Eleonor Roosevelt room which was beautifully appointed. The bed was sooooo comfortable and the bathroom, though, smallish, was nicely done as well. Our room was in the "West Wing" which is an outside entrance behind the main... More

The tone was set when we arrived as "dignitaries"! After settling into our room, we returned to the main sitting room for a few happy hours with lite-sweets and wine, sherry or port and the opportunity to interact with other guests. The gourmet breakfast was served by our enthusiastic innkeeper who delighted us with a mixture of entertaining tales. Very... More
