If 3 1/2 star rating were possible I would have given that. The resort itself was very, very nice. It won't stand up to a Marriott but if you want a comfortable, reasonably priced, family fun place to spend some time then this place is perfect. Pros: The staff is great. Very cheerful and helpful. The fun stuff is pretty... More

We are members of powhatan and are proud to be ,this resort IS a little dated compared to modern furnishings, but thats the beauty of this place its old colonial not travel lodge which is so quaint . The resort facilities are excellent, if you want to play crazy golf in the cool of the evening at 9pm you can... More

My wife, two daughters and I had booked a week at this resort through our timeshare company RCI for August 2014. We currently own different timeshares in the Orlando area by Disney World and had decided to exchange one of them to come to Williamsburg, VA for a week earlier this month. Here is some information about the resort. The... More

We went here as a two night stop over on our way to the outer banks. I really enjoyed this place and loved the idea of having almost a little condo. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were in condo 155c and it was really nice. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here 20 years ago. We had a 2 bedroom unit first floor this trip. Still a nice resort but our unit needed updating - the living room furniture is worn out and the tub and shower surfaces are very worn. Otherwise the unit was in good shape - beds very comfy. Three outdoor pools, one for adults only... More

We stayed here in July in one of the renovated units and loved it. There was no push for the timeshare and the two bedroom unit was great. Fast forward to August and we're in a three bedroom unit with my parents...because we liked it so much. Well, this unit has not been updated and while everything was decent there... More

We were very skeptical to come to this resort but we loved it. We did get a beautiful updated upstairs two bedroom unit overlooking the lake. The room had all the amenities of home. There is no maid service but I did not mind. The beds, linens and pillows were the most comfortable we ever had. I have not one... More

We stayed for 4 nights in a 2 bd upper. The decor is dated and lack of up keep is noticeable. Our kitchen had ants- we called maintenance and were told that "we are in the woods". He tossed 4 traps on our counter and left- never offering to help "capture" the army crawling everywhere. The floor trim in the... More

Arrived late but they have 24 hour service to check in. we got a 2 bedroom upper unit which means it's a two bedroom apartment on the second floor accessible by stairs. 1 bedroom had a queen size bed and the master a king size bed. There is also... More

We stayed in a two bedroom upstairs unit. The master bedroom had a king size bed that was so comfortable that I slept really well. I loved the heavy curtains that we were able to close in the bedroom to block out the morning sun. I never sleep in, but was able to here. The 2nd bedroom had a queen... More
