The picture on Tripadvisor for Brick House Inn is NOT what the Brick House Inn really looks like. It is in a residential neighborhood and is not this 2 story house shown. We paid 207.00 a night and stayed Friday night and left at 8am Saturday morning. There was sewage coming up the drain from the bath tub/shower and it... More

Hello Mrs F. This is your second reviews and I have answered your other comments. I am sorry you were unhappy when you arrived in Williamsburg, and there was nothing I could do for you. And you were unhappy at the other B&B and there was nothing I could do to make you happy here I am sorry for you... More

We enjoyed our stay here. It's a short 1/2 mile walk to Duke of Gloucester Street, and the only time anyone but guests is there is to make breakfast (sorry if you were hoping for a made bed each day!). We stayed in the Jefferson Room, which was quite lovely and cozy, with a private but detached bathroom. It was... More

The Brick House is a unique and enjoyable experience. I stayed there three nights with my 12 year old son. It is not inexpensive, but for the money you get 100% immersion in the Colonial Williamsburg experience. Walk out the front door of the Inn, and you are right in the middle of the Revolutionary City - no cars, just... More

We missed out on Bonnie! Our room was clean and quaint and a brilliant change from our week on the beach. Breakfast was good but the owners weren't at the house and from other reviews it looks like we missed out. Our fellow guests were great and we enjoyed our nights stay so close to williamsburg.

We arrived to find our key taped to the door. The B&B was nicely kept and clean. The owner / innkeeper does not live there, so we were alone in the house. Since we typically like to talk with the innkeeper about the area we are visiting, this was a disappointment. The innkeeper's employee, arrived at 8AM, made us breakfast... More

Stayed here over the holidays and loved the charm of the place. Stayed in the Washington room, which was decorated fabulously, with even a little Christmas tree. The place is walking distance to colonial Williamsburg but not in the hubbub. But the best part of the charm was Bonnie herself! She would have great stories for us during breakfast and... More

What a treasure this find was! First, the accomodations are excellent -- very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Big fluffy towels, a robe for the shower, bottles of water, even a charming little basket of snacks -- and this is just a short list of what the thoughtful innkeeper provides. The innkeeper herself is a treasure as well! Bonnie is delightfully... More

Stayed here on our 38th wedding anniversary. I was browsing for hotels when this popped up. How fortunate for us! It is located in a residential area but not very far from the historic district. You feel like you are "home". We stayed in the Jefferson Room, located on the second floor. The bathroom was next door to our room.... More

We took a last minute trip to the Colonial Williamsburg area and booked a night at the Brick House Inn. Bonny (owner) was very friendly and most informative. She is very active with Colonial Williamsburg and a wealth of information. Our room was quiet, very clean, and immaculately decorated. We had access to the house and found the location to... More
