Such a disappointment. Upon arriving everything seemed to have potential as a slight breeze kept the fallen leaves dancing on the ground. Keys were waiting for us with our welcoming note. This is not unusual as we realize the keeper/owner will not always be there to greet the guests. But, neither did the keeper/owner appear that evening, the next morning... More

A wonderful experience at this quaint and comfortable B&B! Ike is a terrific host, and the staff is first-rate. Highly recommended as a romantic getaway! You will be treated in a friendly and relaxed manner --- and you will truly eat a "skip-lunch" breakfast!

We would recommend staying here to anyone! The inn keeper, Ike and the staff were so attentive and welcoming. The home is beautiful and the suites were 5 star. Thanks again! We will most definately be back!

This B&B is big enough to provide a fabulous, comfortable, spacious suite and small enough to offer all the comforts of home. Our host, Ike, proved to be a warm, charming and engaging man who not only provided us with a wonderful B&B experience, but gave us travel and sightseeing tips to enhance our stay. He also happily accommodated our... More

What a great experience our family had at the Williamsburg sampler. The rooms were ample in size, the house is decorated fabulously, and the breakfasts are scrumptious. Ike is very personable host and makes you feel like part of his family! Highly recommended. The Szklarz & Williams family, Spencer, OH

While planning our recent trip to Williamsburg, we decided we wanted to stay in a B&B instead of a hotel. We were looking for a more warm experience than what you would ordinarily find in a hotel. We selected the Sampler based on reviews and on their web site. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and remained so throughout... More

This was our first time staying at a B&B, and we absolutely loved it! The place was very charming, comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. We stayed in the King Williams Suite which exceeded our expectations. Ike is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are delicious! It's less than a 15 minute walk to colonial Williamsurg. We will definitely... More

I recently stayed at this beautiful and quaint HOME on a trip to Busch Gardens... I had always heard of bed and breakfasts but had never had the opportunity to visit one.... Let me tell you I was not disappointed! The owner Ike has done an amazing job of encompassing old town Williamsburg in his own unique way into this... More

Management response:

Thanks for your review. You made the "Sampler" day. That is like waking up Christmas morning, looking under the tree, and getting the present I always wanted. It is also nice having "a first timer" to visit and enjoy the wonders of a bed and breakfast. More

The B&B was perfect for a mid-week getaway. We stayed in the Eliza Reynolds Chamber, which was quite spacious and had a lovely bathroom. The king size bed is a huge plus and EXTREMELY comfortable! The whole house was very warm and welcoming and Ike is a wonderful innkeeper and makes you feel right at home. Also, he's an unbelievable... More

This is real gem of a place, a really convivial host, outstanding breakfast and quaint rooms, I stayed in the Lord Nelson room, well being a Brit what else! an ideal location for your stay in colonial Williamsburg, a short walk into town and even a shorter drive!
