This beautiful hotel, a member of "The Leading Small Hotels of the World" is undoubtedly the best location in Williamsburg. Of course, you have to pay for that kind of luxury and service, but for what you get, the Williamsburg Inn is hard to beat. From the well-appointed, spacious rooms, to the beautiful grounds facing the Golden Hourseshoe Golf Course,... more

We stayed here between Christmas and New Year's if you can call it that. Upon arrival we ate in their premium restaurant , The Regency Room where we contracted food poisoning. We spent the next 36 hours extremely ill in our room, not seeing anything of Colonial Williamsburg. Despite being diagnosed with food poisoning by the hotel's doctor, they have... more

It was a cold winter getaway when we stayed at this beautiful Inn. It really is first class...services, people, accommodations, amenities, and nearby historic attractions. When we arrived at our spacious, well laid out suite, we asked the front desk to have the “fireman” come, bring some firewood, and light our fireplace. It quickly warmed the room and us. Even... more

My wife and I have stayed at the Inn many times over the years, and it is remains our favorite destination- the hotel against which we measure all others. The service is impeccable, the dining superb, the atmosphere classic, charming, and old school. There may be better values in the Williamsburg area, but there is nothing that compares with the... more

I have stayed at the Inn many times - for Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July - it is always beautiful and consistent. The hotel is beautifully maintained, I have compared many hotels to it over the years. It is charming and quaint and elegant all at the same time. The restaurants are perfect and the Sunday Brunch is the best... more

You HAVE to stay here! If you like unique, luxury resorts with character... you will love this hotel! The staff knows your name, the hotel stays true to it's historical apperance by offering a traditional bedside clock as an alarm (and there is also the hidden digital alarm as well) and there is a bottle of cold Panna water awaiting... more

We chose this hotel for a three night anniversary getaway. It was a great choice! The room was very large, and the bathroom featured double bowl sinks, separate shower and soaking tub, tastefully done in marble. Everything was exceptionally clean and the common areas seemed to have undergone a recent upgrade. We really did not need our car to tour... more

Our family of 4 (parents and two daughters ages 14 and 11) stayed for two nights in a Resort Suite at the Williamsburg Inn. The room was lovely - furnished with 18th century reproductions and quite spacious. Large living area with queen-sized pull out couch (kids slept here) several chairs and a desk. The bedroom and bathroom are very large... more

We very nearly didn't visit Williamsburg,I thought it was going to be too much of a theme park.....fortunately it was late as we arrived in the area and this sounded like the only hotel of interest to stay so we called in on the off chance. They had a room,a super room with a huge marble bathroom with tub for... more

Our stay at this beautiful hotel could not have been better. Throughout the hotel are beautiful arragements of fresh flowers. The decor is so wonderfully elegant .The staff made us feel like we were always returning home, they welcomed us back everytime we returned, remembered our name, and once recognized us walking around Williamsburg ,stopped, and asked if we needed... more
