My husband and I and our 3 year old daughter and my parents stayed at the Williamsburg Inn for 1 night in May as part of a quick sightseeing trip to Williamsburg from washington DC. The hotel was beautiful and the room beautifully decorated with king size bed, ornate wall paper, writing desk, seperate seating areas and super large luxurious... more

Colonial Williamsburg is a real trip to the past. An entertaining, historic trip that will delight both young and old, historical buffs and the historically curious alike. The Inn is charming, beautifully decorated, the rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The front desk staff needs training, take a cue from all the reviews here, not everyone can be wrong.... more

We stayed for 4 days in an elegant and comfy room and delighted in visits to nearby historical sites, but the very high room rate and a multitude of small annoyances make me wish that I had chosen another location, perhaps the lodge or rooms in historic buildings. It was slack season so the place was usually quite empty. Two... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Williamsburg Inn for a long weekend visit to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown. We had a wonderful time and loved the Williamsburg Inn. The property is right there in the heart of the living museum that is Colonial Williamsburg. We were a 3-4 minute walk from the colonial street and the exhibits. It was... more

Stayed in the Market Square Tavern Kitchen of the Colonial homes that are run by the Williamsburg Inn for two nights recently. It was wonderful. Very charming and comfortable. When you walk out the door in the morning you are right in the heart of it all. My kids were a little creeped out by it at first - we... more

My husband and I stayed at the main hotel last year and we loved it. Our room was so beautiful, romantic and colonial. The bathroom was big and as well as the main room very elegant. We order room service and even was a total disaster it did not ruined our lovely stay. Front desk was so helpful, they explained... more

As a splurge for my daughter's college graduation, we booked a room in one of the historic properties managed by the Williamsburg Inn. It was a fabulous experience. When I made the reservation, I was concerned about stairs and access for my elderly mother, but the reservation clerk found us a room on the first floor, with nearby parking. She... more

The hotel is beautiful and grand. However, upon arriving at the hotel, we were told that our luggage was going to be taken by the bellman, who would hold on to it, until our room was available for check-in. Check in was at 3:00, and we arrived at 4:00. We were told to wait in the lobby until the bellman... more

The Williamsburg Inn is a wonderful hotel. The room was outstanding, we had a two queen bed room in the main inn. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing all tile with, a separate bathtub and very large shower with great water pressure and temperature. They don't advertise it on there website, but they do have free WIFI... more

I stayed in the Providence Wing of the Williamsburg Inn. Despite mixed reviews, I found the room to be superb. It was very spacious, with a huge king sized bed and a sliding door out to a patio. I had a room with a view of the tennis courts, and did not find them to be noisy even with people... more
