The Williamsburg Inn met and exceeded all of my expectations for a luxury hotel. Arrival and check-in were flawless and the professionalism on the part of the hotel staff was impressive. The traditional atmosphere of the hotel facilities and the rooms only enhanced our visit to the area. Our room(3190) was located on the 1st floor, close to the exit... More

I have visited Williamsburg and stayed in area resorts and hotels on a number of occasions in the last 25 years. I had no idea what I was missing by not staying at the Williamsburg Inn before. We arrived late in the evening and there was a mixup with our room. The bellman knew as he was taking us there... More

We spent 2 nights in the Williamsburg Inn in Williamsburg during our holiday in the USA with our family of 6 at the end of April 2014. It is usually warm and sunny in Virginia during this time of year but we encountered rain, rain and cold temparatures. (58F) The staff in the hotel was very friendly the rooms very... More

It is so great to be able to get away from it all, without traveling all that far from home! The traditional southern atmosphere is always a trip back in time, yet with all of the modern amenities one could hope for to go with it. Thank you!

You have to be impressed as you enter the property up the large circular drive to the front door. Promptly greeted by the Alexander, the bellman on duty that time. He was very helpful while touting the amenities of the hotel. Easy check in and very professional staff. After being shown to a quite large room and unpacking it became... More

Absolutely thrilled to stay at this property. With beautiful grounds, excellent staff, fantastic facilities and convenient location, I was extremely satisfied with the Williamsburg Inn. The rooms are very large and well maintained. The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. The facilities are impressive and well run from the spa/ fitness/pool to golf and dining. This hotel does "hospitality" extremely... More

What a wonderful hotel....beautiful, spotless, convenient....When you think of the gracious South, you should think of this hotel. The afternoon doorman, Alexander, was terrific. He knew us throughout our stay and would get us anything we needed (we asked where the ice machine was and he said we shouldn't worry about it...he would get it. And he did in less... More

Gorgeous property, history all around you, attentive staff, loveliness all around you. Our room was amazing. Large, beautiful drapes, wallpaper and furniture. Large beautiful bathroom. Loved the outdoor patio overlooking the golf course. There are 3 pools! We used the 'quiet' one. Walk across the street and visit Historical Williamsburg. Loved the Colonial Highway drive to Jamestown. Close to hotel.... More

We could not have been happier with choosing the Williamsburg Inn for our recent stay. My husband and son had been last year and loved it so the whole family went back this year. The Inn is beautiful -- our room was huge, our children loved the pool, and we really enjoyed dinner outside on the Terrace. The service was... More

Due to the fact that I live 10 minutes from WIlliamsburg, some may wonder why I am reviewing a hotel there. Conference. But my experience was well worth the money. The Governor's Inn is a great place to stay if you are planning a trip to Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, or Jamestown. It is one of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation's properties,... More
