I recently took my wife to the Williamsburg Inn for a romantic getaway. What a gem we have in our back yard. The Inn is in the hart of Williamsburg, the place I have called home for nearly 50 years. It is clear to me why Kings, Queens and Presidents have traveled to stay at the Williamsburg Inn since it... More

We stayed in the Orell Kitchen House for the weekend with our 1.5 yr old and our 3.5 yr old. We loved it. Some may not like how the house was a little bit on the shabby side, but we didn't mind, especially since we had toddlers. The house has its own fenced yard and you can park right by... More

The Channel 70 Video Productions crew filmed an annual meeting held here for a non-profit's archives and the hotel staff went out of their way to help out. Without a great staff, a hotel is just another building. Despite the 18th century environment, the hotel has every 21st century technology we needed, including free wifi. Our rooms (Jr Suite) were... Mrs RM had always wanted to visit the Williamsburg Inn. Now we have. Staff were incredibly gracious, the restaurant excellent, the fitness center and spa among the best I have seen. Room was very large, tub, separate shower, double lavatory. Fresh roses in the room, fireplace burning in the lobby. I will not stay anywhere else in Williamsburg after having... More

The Williamsburg Inn is a true treasure of our country. No other property in the country has the elegance that this hotel has. The setting is remarkable. The rooms are beyond elegant and the staff is remarkable. It has got everything and it does not cost a fortune. Williamsburg is the most underated tourist attraction in the country. It has... More

If you ever think there is no regional it's left in our country, do yourself a favor and visit the Williamsburg Inn. A return to the tempo of the distant past. the people are truly hospitable, the pace slows to a comfortable level, and the lifestyle if civilized. It's not eighteenth century, perhaps, but early twentieth at least. You can... More

Simply put, The Williamsburg Inn is outstanding. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. The temperature remains at that which you have chosen, and you will not be awakened by noise. The bathroom is an experience in itself. I have stayed at some of the finest hotels and inns, but none better than the Williamsburg Inn. Williamsburg is a... More

Holiday time in Williamsburg is not complete without a trip to the Williamsburg Inn, if only to have tea graciously served by liveried waiters at this historic mansion. The huge fireplace and fabulous decorations welcome you to the lobby. While the room was adequately sized, the cleanliness, service, and gracious hospitality are beyond compare.
