We visited the Aldrich House in May, 2014 on a brief weekend trip to Williamsburg to celebrate our 10th anniversary. From the time we made the reservations to the time we left, the communication and the services that Tom and Sue provided were top-notch. The house sits on a little cul-de-sac only a few hundred yards from Colonial Williamsburg. When... More

This was our second visit to Aldrich House. We stayed there in 2011 and when we planned a repeat two-night visit to Williamsburg we had no hesitation in booking the Patton Room again. Tom and Sue make their guests very welcome. There are just three guest rooms so the inn has a nice, homely feel to it. We've stayed in... More

Tom and Sue Patton are great hosts, and Tom's cooking can keep you going almost all day. Location is superb, an easy walk to the nearby Colonial Williamsburg 'campus' and close to restaurants. We found their Lewis Room just right for two, quiet and comfortable.

We stayed at the Aldrich House for two nights for a girls get-away. We stayed in the beautiful and comfortable Anderson room. Plenty of space in this room for the 3 of us to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The house is very inviting and casual but beautiful. Tom welcomed us on... More

A romantic overnight getaway found us spending our time at a great spot "The Aldrich House B&B". Nestled on a cul-de-sac, a convenient 2 block walk to the historic district, makes this property a top choice. The home is warm and comfortable in the common areas and our king suite (Patton) on the first floor was large and nicely appointed.... More

A wonderful place to stay just two minutes from Colonial Williamsburg! In a quiet section of town (you will sleep well), but close to everything. The house is elegant but casual, with attractive prints and antiques but also a lived-in atmosphere to put one at ease. My adult daughter and I had a lovely huge room with lots of room... More

We stayed at the Aldrich House for four nights. Tom and Sue were perfect hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. We learned so much about the area from Tom. The room was much larger than I expected and the beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and served on beautiful Spode china. Every time we left or came back... More

We stayed in the Anderson Room for three nights and had a great experience. It is within easy walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg. The breakfasts were both ample and well-prepared, the public spaces inviting, and the hosts most welcoming and accommodating. They have decorated with a clear eye to the history of the area. The decor says "Williamsburg" at every... More

My wife and had the pleasure of staying at the Aldrich House B&B in Williamsburg on 4/18/2013 through 4/21/2013. The Patton room was great. It was large with a King size bed and had a very large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The room was decorated beautifully. The breakfast was fantastic. You were served eggs, with french toast or waffles or... More

We spent 5 nights here, exploring Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Monticello during the days. Walking distance to Williamsburg. Tom was up with a hot breakfast ready daily. Each day included eggs, either French toast, waffles, pancakes, or crepes, and either bacon, Virginia ham, or a variety of sausage. Fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee as well. Tom conducts guided tours... More
