3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

while the washroom was a wee bit small and the room did not have a great view and there was no water served in the room and no refrigerator either, the room itself was wood paneled . Cozy and had an antique air in it. Also it had a good parking area, was located very conveniently near the historical area... More

Williamsburg Virginia was a very beautiful place with many different sightseeing attractions and tourist locations. The hotel itself did not appear to be set up correctly with no views, very little historic feeling to it, and not much in the way of activities offered. The food did not in any way shape or form remind me of historical Williamsburg... it... More

This was the first ever, very long awaited trip to historical town of Williamsburg and Jamestown. With kids age 8 and 7, it's must see place to understand how America has evolved. Being a regular traveller and staying at fine hotels in most of the cases, my experience at Lodge is nothing but mediocre. Despite a great location, minutes from... More

We usually stay the Woodlands where the suites are excellent. Got tired of the out of control kids and rude seniors at breakfast so we decided to try The Lodge for a few dollars more. Our room was very nice. Not a suite but very clean. The Lodge offers a sit down dining room with excellent food, and a lounge... More

We stayed in the Willamsburg Lodge with our 2 grown children and our 4 grandchildren over Easter weekend. We had the Spring Package that included tickets, breakfast and room which was a great value! The Lodge had a magic show the night we arrived which the kids loved! On Easter morning they had an Easter egg hunt with lots of... More

We stayed in the main part of the lodge on the second floor. It was a lovely suite. The lodge was crowded, however, we didn't hear much noise. The room was very clean and just perfect for our visit. The Lodge is perfectly situated for walking into Williamsburg and seeing all the sights. We had the package that included breakfast.... More

The staff could not be nicer and while the room was reasonably comfortable it didn't feel clean. There was a big stain on the rug, cobwebs around the smoke detector over the beds, dust on the furniture and mold on the bathroom ceiling and in the tile grout. There is not ventilation fan in the bathroom which might account for... More

The Williamsburg Lodge is the perfect place to launch into Colonial Williamsburg. The ambience and décor are timeless and draw you into the historic mindset. But, the location is the best, because you can walk right out the door to Colonial Williamsburg...only across the street. We have stayed at other nice properties in Williamsburg, but you have to drive to... More

Not only could they not accommodate our request for early check-in, but our rooms were not ready until after 5pm and they never called us back with any kind of status update. They let guests stay for late checkout AFTER we called to double-check on early checkin. They didn't leave until 2pm, and they still didn't have housekeeping immediately in... More

Please accept my most sincere apology. We clearly missed the mark in delivering your service expectation. This is certainly not the kind of news we like to hear and I have shared your comments with all related staff. Anything less than a rave review is taken personally by the entire team. I would love the opportunity to make this up... More

Have stayed at The Lodge, Inn and Colonial Houses through the years and have been pleased with all (although I feel the Inn is overpriced.) The Lodge is, by far, the most family friendly. Rooms good sized for a tourist area and clean.
