I stayed here during the week for a work conference. I had a large room with two double beds in the north wing. The rooms had a nice feel, with colonial themed decor. It was clean and comfortable, and the heating worked really well (as it was cold outside). The hotel is a short walk to some of the main... More

I went to this location for a work girls trip. We all stayed in the Nicholas area. The hotel is decorated nicely and it is very clean. The shampoo and conditioner in the rooms are awesome and from the spa. The beds were a little hard, but decently comfortable. The AC/Heat worked great as well. The lodge is close to... More

I stayed at the Williamsburg Lodge hotel as part of a conference, and was highly disappointed with my stay. First, the rooms were very small with a TV that was smaller than my laptop and shoved on the side of the room. When I got to sleep, I could hear everything that happened in the hallway and in my neighbor's... More

Our experience was good from the moment we checked in. The girl at the front desk was very helpful. We were able to purchase any tickets that we needed right at the hotel. Our rooms were beautifully appointed with very comfortable beds. The location allowed us to park our car and not have to move it until we left. The... More

The overwhelming benefit of staying at the Williamsburg Lodge is the proximity to Williamsburg itself. A short walk outside and to the left, and you are standing in front of the Magazine building near the center of Colonial Williamsburg. We also enjoyed the decor in the Lodge, which extended colonial style furniture into the rooms, without sacrificing comfort. We enjoyed... More

Just completed a weekend at the lodge. I chose the hotel for the location but also because it offered luxury for a ladies getaway weekend. The location was perfect, but everything else was disappointing given the premium price. We were put in Tazewell Hall, which is far from the main lodge, has a very tired decor, and is lacking in... We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge but were underwhelmed by the room. For the price we paid I expected more, our room was quite candidly "ordinary" and what you might find at an upscale motel. While the staff was top notch and the service in the main lodge desk was more than expected. The main advantage of the lodge... More

This was my 6th year staying at the Williamsburg lodge. I was located in the South guesthouse while attending a conference. As usual the lodge exceeded my expectations. The room was perfect with a great view and creaky floors that reminded you this location was rich in history. My room was clean upon my arrival with one of the most... More

This was our third Fall trip to the Williamsburg Lodge. once again we were impressed with the hotel staff at all levels and the quality of the accommodations. We have been pleased with the Nicholas & Tyler guest houses which are away from the main lodge and are closest to the historical area (about 75 yards). In the fall season... More

On this return trip to Williamsburg, I wanted to stay at one of their locations. I paid more than I normally would for that privilege. The lodge was quaint. Had a very nice area with a roaring fire and live talent. The reception personnel were friendly , but mechanically so. This shows the level of my expectations so this might... More
