Have been staying at The Lodge every visit for the past 15 years. Think it is nicer than The Inn, even though that has a 5-star rating. Service is always excellent, the bar serves great drinks and the restaurant is very good. The rooms are large and comfortable. A short walk to everything in the historic area. Highly recommended.

Access to historic area across the street-bus stop in front of hotel is great for drop offs around historic area. The Friday seafood buffet is a good choice. They also have a lounge area with lighter fare. Pool area is across the street at the Inn, Good choice of hotels. Staff very helpful and polite,

We stayed at the Lodge recently and had a fabulous stay. This time we opted for a suite room after the room we stayed in last time was quite tight when you add a pack and play crib. The suite was fabulous and had a whole separate sitting area with a couch and play space plus a kitchenette. On the... More

We just stayed at the Lodge for three days. Really liked the proximity to the Williamsburg sites and restaurants. Particularly liked the staff and the food in the Lounge was great for a quick bite. Only negative was the thin walls on the first floor of the south wing. You can really hear the creaking floors, showers and flushing of... More

We stayed here for two nights recently. The lodge is right in the middle of Colonial Williamsburg conveniently located to everything. The room was really nice with a very comfortable bed. The only problem was we were located right next to the main door so we could hear everyone coming and going. The reception staff were okay but never smiled... More

My family and I stayed here in early August for about 6 nights. Initially we planned to stay 7, but due to the horrific traffic getting there from the north, we cut our trip short a day and stayed in Alexandria on the way home. What does this have to do with the hotel? Well, after being in the car... More

Spent a few days here late in July. Facilities ftom the main dining room, spa & pool were all very close and convenient. We stayed in a room in the Tyler building across from the lobby, but accessible under a covered walk way in case of bad weather. In the morning they muster the troops out front which was fun... More

Stayed here in two rooms with grandparents and kids while visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It's obviously very well located with shuttle buses that conveniently take you to different areas of the Colonial town. To make an analogy it's kind of like staying at a Disney hotel while visiting Disneyland--you're right in the heart of the action and don't have to go... More

We chose the Williamsburg Lodge and we were so glad we did! We stayed in the Nicholas building and I chose that from recommendations here on Trip advisor. We were able to park our car and we didn't need to move it anytime during our three day stay!! We could walk to any place in Colonial Williamsburg from our room... More

My husband had a business mtg here. We stayed 3 nights. Very nice room, lobby is beautiful. Great amenities. Free use of spa, exercise room, pools for guests. Spa services have fees, but not outrageous pricing. Pools are a bit difficult to find. Bellman pointed me across the street & said it was behind parking lot. I walked over there,... More
