We stayed for three nights in a king room. It was spacious and well equipped and included a sofa and an extra easy chair. The receptionist at check in spent considerable time explaining how to get round Williamsburg. There is a free bus that stops outside the hotel which covers the old town and the shopping areas. On two evenings... More

Affordable luxury while enjoying historic sites . Friendly staff . Lots of space and beautiful decoration reminding you of the time in history where nation was being build. Stayed for one night but we will be back for longer stay.

If you're visiting Colonial Williamsburg, this is a great resort to stay. Our family really appreciated the fact that after a long day walking around the Revolutionary City, we could walk back to the resort, take shower & rest and go back out for a night out at the King's Tavern (excellent) & a ghost tour (save your $). Front... More

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Lodge. Although our arrival at the train station was delayed over an hour, the shuttle was waiting to pick us up. The driver was friendly and chatty, and seemed genuinely happy to have us on his bus. The hotel offers all the services usually found in higher quality hotels: doormen, bellhops,... More

Recently stayed here and was surprised at how dated the rooms/bathrooms have become. the location is great and has onsite parking garage(although full when I tried to park). Service and breakfast o.k. If not so close to the sites it clearly would be way overpriced. Rooms definitely need a makeover.

My wife and I stayed at the Lodge for 5 nights during a conference I was attending. It was a great place for both of us. The conference facilities were excellent. It is right on the Colonial Williamsburg campus so my wife could visit the sites with friends. We didn't use our car the entire time. This was our fourth... More

We came for 3 days and two nights. They updated us to a suite which was such a nice surprise. The room was so big with a table and chairs for 6, living room, large bedroom area and a most comfortable bed. My back felt so much better after sleeping on the very firm bed. We had a package deal... More

Our stay at the Williamsburg Lodge in Colonial Williamsburg has been very pleasant. The staff has been very helpful, especially the conference concierge, who helped me to ship a package home. The food is excellent and plenty of it (if you are not a big eater plan on a doggy bag or split the meal). We have tried several restaurants... More

Buildings, grounds, room, and staff are all very nice. Easy 1.5 block walk to Colonial Williamsburg. Discounted tickets. Free parking. Rooms are pricey... but given the proximity... probably worth it. We will most likely only come to Williamsburg once... and we're glad we stayed here... it had been recommended by friends.... Only negative we could find was the in-room TV...... More

Central location with easy access to Colonial Williamsburg. Great rooms decorated in historic themes but with all modern requirements. Friendly staff at the spa and pool area. Great amenities, including the pools (quiet pool for adults only), bikes for rent and gym. Only downside is that the Lodge is popular for weddings and over the Labor Day weekend, the wedding... More
