Here on business for a change, I have stayed in a colonial house but not the lodge which is clean comfortable and of course convenient. Nice work space in the room and high speed Internet, not much more to ask for

Spent 4 days / 3 nights at the Lodge. Terrific location; buffet breakfast standard fare, dinner very good. I know that the bed is not the most important quality of a hotel, but I have slept in many hotel rooms and the bed at the Williamsburg Lodge was the best. I didn't want to leave! My husband and I took a few days to experience Colonial Williamsburg and to just plain relax. We couldn't have had a better experience. Our room was beautiful, (in the Nicholas section) clean and comfortable. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We will be staying there again on our next trip back.
