The rooms are very nice, very clean, and comfortable with an elegant bathroom. The rooms are decorated with colonial style furnishings and artwork. The location is perfect for all of the Colonial Williamsburg activities and tourist attractions, everything is in an easy walking distance. The hotel restaurant serves excellent tea (if you are a tea drinker it is a refreshing... More

Definitely recommend. Walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg, Merchant Square, William & Mary, and the shuttle to the Visitor's Center. We stayed in the south building on the 2nd floor at the end of the hall in a room with 1 queen bed. The room was very clean and cute. My only complaint is the tiny tv, but then we didn't... More

I stayed for a week in this hotel, but more of a home! It was so comfortable and felt like a little apartment really. The rooms were individually quaint and had homemade furniture, and luxury baths. There are little book-nooks all around the lodge campus and you can sit in comfortable chairs, read, listen to classical music or just look... More

This hotel is right in the Williamsburg Historic District. You can't beat the location for convenience to all the activities. We had a suite which was quite nice - lots of room to spread out. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant. It was a little pricey, but the food was excellent. There was... More

My parents, husband, and 3 month old baby stayed at the Lodge during the week between Christmas and New Year's. It was our daughter's first trip and first hotel stay and I am pleased we chose such a cozy, charming, convenient location. The decorations were tasteful and a very festive mood was in the air all over the colonial city.... More

We stayed New Year's Eve at The Williamsburg Lodge in Colonial Williamsburg. There is no place like Colonial Williamsburg. When nightfall arrived, we strolled the streets in Merchant Square, had a lovely dinner at The Kings Arms Tavern, and retired in our beautiful, rustic room at the Lodge. Everything was absolutely perfect! We LOVE staying at the Lodge. It's quiet,... More

We stayed at the lodge for a wedding weekend and it was perfect. The lodge is right in the heart of colonial Williamsburg. Everything was within walking distance of the lodge. The restaurant food was good and a lovely gift shop was right outside the restaurant door. The lodge has such a warm feeling and the staff was very helpful.

The Williamsburg Lodge is located very conveniently to colonial Williamsburg and is a pleasant looking hotel with nice size rooms at a fair price. Unfortunately the service is almost not existent, the service level is better and certainly friendlier at the discount hotel chains. We ordered room service and it was pitiful. The description of the cheese plate we ordered... More

Roomy, clean and pleasant accommodations within walking distance of the Williamsburg Historic Area. The room had good WiFi connectivity. The restaurant was crowded for breakfast with an extensive wait for seating. However, there was a reasonable light breakfast available in the bar.

We stayed here on December 28 & 29 which is during the busy Holiday season. We made our reservations back in August in order to get the rooms we wanted since there were four families in our party (that included children ages 3, 4, and 6.) We were in the Nicholas House which is across the driveway from the Main... More
