We booked our stay at this hotel for a weekend excursion to Colonial Williamsburg. We hadn't stayed in one of their properties before, but really wanted to be within walking distance to the park. This hotel truly delivered and exceeded our expectations. I reserved the room online and requested one of the rooms with the hardwood floors for the more... more

Attempted to book the Holiday Package at the Williamsburg Inn but was quoted much higher price. Was told that the Holiday package was not valid over the holidays. I was trying to book a room for three nights the last week of December 2009. I re-read the website page and there in small print, it said the Holiday Package was... more

Make sure you keep inventory of items taken out of you suitcases for return to same upon leaving the lodge. If you forget any item it seems as though they can't find any left items as minor as a cell phone charger. I made three phone calls to the Lodge and spoke with house keeping and was promissed a return... more

Wonderful location on edge of historic area. Nice rooms, if a bit pricey. We stayed in Tazwell and were satisfied there. It's a haul from the main bldg but path is all under roof. Our king room was large and nice but bathroom was worn and in need of updating (e.g., mismatched tub & vanity, rusted fixtures). Nice to have... more

When my family and I ( a party of four adults) drove up to the Williamsburg Lodge, we were excited about seeing our room. The gentleman at the valet handled our luggage and stated he would have the bellman bring our bags to our room. We checked in went to the room, which took for ever to get to because... more

We booked well in advance and got a very good rate. Agree with other reviewer that you do need to ask about... more

Very nice Hotel. Close to historic area (within walking distance-2 blocks). Big, but very "bare bones" room, Bed, 2 wooden chairs, desk, TV, night stand. The floors are hard wood, so you do hear people walking around. The front of the house staff are friendly, but was not happy with the housekeeping staff that came knocking on our door at... more

The Williamsburg Lodge was a great hotel, beautiful accomodations and right in the village so we could walk into colonial Williamsburg. The pool was close by and very nice and our room was nicely furnished. We had one issue with the maid service and they credited our room one night. The restaurant was too pricey for us. The spa was... more

We were here in August to attend a family birthday nearby- just for one night. The hotel grounds and buildings are charming and have the proper Colonial ambiance- but honestly for what we paid I wish we had just done the chain hotel thing. The standard room was tiny- and as the below reviewer mentioned- walls are thin and the... more

Stayed there for a two-night anniversary trip. We reserved a room with a queen sized bed (Superior Room with Queen). Our room was in the South Guestroom quarters. It was pretty rustic with paneling on the walls and a pretty small bathroom (but the bathroom sufficed). We found out immediately though, that we could hear just about everything in the... more
