Was never in Williamsburg before so I didn't know what to expect. The hotel seemed nice from pictures (but most do). The place is beautiful. Well maintained, never too much trouble to help. Even the maids and cleaning staff always greeted you. The room was clean and had everything I could need. The shuttle is right outside the door, but... more

Visited briefly as part of a road trip to a wedding. We wanted to stay in Williamsburg, and chose the Lodge as we wanted to be close to the historic centre, and it was well worth it. Very traditional style rooms, but very clean and recently done up. We were upgraded and so had a king which was massive, and... more

This is our fourth visit at Williamsburg VA and staying at Williamsburg Lodge. We brought our 16 yr old granddaughter with us. The location is wonderful, staff friendly, restaurant has great breakfast, what more can I say? We stayed in the Nicholas Building this time and I would recommend requesting it as I would in the future. more

We spent 8 nights here earlier this month. We arrived prior to the check-in time; and, our room was not ready. Not a problem since we had reserved a certain room type in a particular building. The front desk clerk did check to see if there was the same room type in a different building available; but, there was not.... more

From check-in to check-out, our stay at the Williamsburg Lodge was wonderful! The staff was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. We found our room to be spacious and clean, and the folk art decor was very comfortable and inviting. A special, unexpected treat was the Sunday brunch! We started with mimosas and ended with wonderful desserts. We highly recommend a relaxing,... more

My husband and I went to the Williamsburg Lodge for a weekend getaway. The experience was wonderful. We checked in a little ealry, but the room was not ready. So, we went to the pool which was lovely and not at all crowded. After a couple of hours they called our cell phone to let us know the room was... more

I was dismayed by the negative reviews for the Williamsburg Lodge. We were combining a business and pleasure trip. So we were booked there for 2 days for one of us to attend a conference. The room was beautiful. One of the nicest I have stayed in. It was large, well furnished, comfortable and clean. Big bathroom with plenty of... more

I was booked here (at another's expense) for a meeting at the National Center for State Courts. The location was fantastic. Just two blocks from Old Colonial Williamsburg, about 3-4 blocks from the square with shops and great restaurants (Fat Canary is pricey but as good as it get...4 Diamond Winner), and only about 3-4 blocks from Wiliam and Mary.... more

We originally had a reservation at the Woodlands, but they could not accommodate our request for a rollaway which we requested at months earlier. They never mentioned this to us. Did not help us until I asked who to write to about this situation. We were transferred to the Williamsburg Lodge at 9:30 PM. The Lodge was recently refurbished. We... more
