You get exactly what you pay for here in this older motel styple Motel6. For $29.90 you get a smallish clean room with two double beds and a tv. nothing more. Not even shampoo. It's got new coat of paint in the rooms for their "renovation" but still looks very dreary outside. Heat worked very well, too well for my... more

We stayed at Motel 6 Aug.1 -3, 2008. We were greeted at check in by Trish, who is the manager. She was very professional, helpful, and sweet. SHe really does her job well. Gave us a 5% off military rate btw. Our room was small and smelled a little of smoke even though it was non smoking. Think the maid... more

My family and I were passing through Williamsburg and usually book Motel 6 merely on price. Booking was easy, we booked online. I called the day before to confirm our reservation and to see if they had cribs for my 2 year old son. Spreaking to them, they were very pleasent and they actually had a play pen/pack N play... more

This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. If we had not been traveling with a group, I would have kept driving and just forgotten about the $75 bucks we paid for the room. When I pulled back the covers to my son's bed there was actually a dead beetle on top of the blanket! (Luckily, my... more

Obviously Motel 6 is an economy hotel but this was just ridiculous. And it was actually about $70 a night, which isn't dirt cheap. The room had a strange odor of Bologna and a dead bug was smashed on the ceiling. There wasn't even a clock in the room and only a shower stall in the bathroom. Also there was... more

If cheap is what you're looking for this is the place but be prepared to take your own blanket (theirs was worse than Goodwill), a stopper for the sink (they didnt have one) the phone didnt work properly as keypad was defective, you couldnt shut the bathroom door because the bed was blocking it! The carpet was so dirty it... more

I have to agree with the previous review - teeny room, stench in the air - my children were fearful to get in the beds, afraid there would be bugs in there. Horrible mold in the bathroom, no way we would even use the water to brush our teeth - we used bottled water. toilet ran, shower area disgusting, I'm... more

I have to agree with the reviewer that said to only stay here if you are a moisture loving fungus. I was traveling with my fiance and looking for a place to stay for one night on our way to the outer banks. All we needed was a simple place to sleep and shower the next morning. This place seemed... more

My family of four stayed here in late June 2006. We had a room with two double beds - and nothing much else. At least the bathrooms were clean. Don't plan to spend anytime in the room, there isn't any space once you cram your luggage in. There was a huge gathering of people with open doors and partying down... more

I stayed here while attending a conference next door - being a single woman I was a tich nervous about the ground floor room opening onto the outside sidewalk but I stayed here two nights and felt pretty safe the whole time. The room was small but clean, looked to be recently repainted. No one (including myself) knew how to... more
