This hotel was as nice as could be expected for the price. I was looking for something affordable, and I found it. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. I do wish there was a microwave in our room, but there was one in the main building so that's fine. The hotel is... More

Affordable place to stay within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. Employees personable. Rooms nicely appointed and comfortable. Breakfast room has good selections. On busy mornings, an additional breakfast area is available one flight up.

A good value for the money. The breakfast area is excellent!!! It is very clean, beautifully decorated, welcoming, and the many choices of food are delicious! It is within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg and Merchant's Square.

We traveled to Colonial Williamsburg for Virginia Fashion Week with plans to return home that evening. The show ran late and we needed a place to stay that was close to the William & Mary campus. I had seen this motel coming in to town and didn't think very highly of it at the time. A friend was staying there... More

The location of the hotel was great and very convenient. However if you are looking for any kind of luxury you will not find this here. The rooms are outward facing which was a little discerning for me.

Whilst this not as expensive as most. It is a lovely place and very handy to walk into historical Williamsburg. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and maintained. The breakfast is a good basic start to the day. Park your car and leave it. You are that close to the centre. Happy to stay here again.

It was convenient to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Clean enough, but dated. TV didn't work. Staff was nice. We checked in too early and they were nice enough to look up when the park closed so we could be back to get our keys.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. While it is an official Colonial Williamsburg hotel and near CW that's the end of the benefits. The rooms are dark and ours had a dampness that the air conditioning just couldn't overcome. We had one lamp that didn't work, our TV didn't work and the tub didn't drain well. There are... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Governor's Inn. The room was clean. The continental breakfast was more than I expected for "continental". We were able to walk to Colonial Williamsburg in about 10 minutes but if you wanted a shuttle it was only a 5 minute drive away...and parking for the shuttle at the visitors center is free. The front... More

The big thing that this place has going for it is the location, if you're visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It's within walking distance to the historic area, less than half a mile. We loved being able to walk down there and back. Other than that, it is what it is - which is a typical motel. The room was small, felt... More
