Stayed at the Residence Inn because reviews said it was pet friendly, and it sure was! Lots of dogs at the hotel during our stay, but the hotel wasn't noisy at all. The location was great - within walking distance of a number of restaurants and stores. Fast drive to the historic area, and just a little further to Busch... more

This Residence Inn is typical of the chain. Clean, large units, decent breakfast, well maintained property. We arrived for a three night stay and extended an additional night. There are a ton of dining options within a mile of the property. Busch Gardens is 15 minutes away, Colonial Williamsburg is five mintues away, and Jametown is within a half hour.... more

My mum and dad and I stayed for 10 nights and were thrilled this hotel lived up to our expectations as we had previously stayed in Residence Inn danvers and found that this hotel was much cleaner and fresher. We had arrived v early for check-in and the room was ready for us which was great. We had booked a 2... more

The Residence Inn is in a great location but needs major updating. We had a 2 bedroom suite and the livingroom furniture was ripped and faded. The hot tub was filthy and the breakfast was okay. My husband commented on the "gray" colored sausage on the breakfast buffet. We had stayed at the Residence Inn in Alexandria VA 3 days... more

Check in went very well. Clerk was very nice and friendly as was the rest of the staff. We booked a two bedroom suite. The suite consisted of a living room and two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Loved having two bathrooms. One bedroom had a king bed and the other two queens. I was really pleased that both rooms... more

Overall at the hotels.com discounted rate of $125 for a one-bedroom suite, this Residence Inn was quite acceptable. However, having spent many nights in other Residence Inns, this one was a disappointment because it lacked the feeling of hospitality I am accustomed to, the room was not as well equipped (e.g. hard-wired internet only, no wi-fi; poorly lighted work area),... more

We stayed at the Residence Inn for 4 nights this past week. We had a 1 bedroom suite which was nicely equipped, but felt rather basic. Overall the room was fairly clean, but not as spotless as we've come to expect from our many Marriott stays (it was by no means dirty, either). The front desk staff was competant, our... more

I stayed here to visit the Colonial Williamsburg area between Christmas and New Years. I stayed here because of its close proximity to the colonial area and because I could bring my dogs. Most Residence Inns are pet friendly and that is a big consideration for me when choosing a hotel. The staff was great and the hotel was nice... more

Upon planning a trip to Colonial Williamsburg, I started to search for pet friendly hotels on the internet within the area because we would have our two cocker spaniels with us. I found a list of eight hotels who were pet friendly. I then read each and every review carefully on tripadvisor. I was really caught between two hotels and... more
