We are platinum members and choose places to travel where we find a Marriott. We decided to take our kids and grandchildren to Williamsburg for a few days and stay at the full service Marriott right by Busch Gardens. We were very disappointed by this Marriott. The outside grounds were not nice and the back parking lot junky. The inside... more

Stayed here with large family and children. I was surprised to see that the lobby was beautiful, however, rooms and hallways were worn and old to say the least. This hotel is in definate need of an update. The closet doors were off track in our room and there were no fans in the bathroom to eleminate the steam from... more

The bed was really comfortable, the staff was super nice. The hotel was a little rundown, but very clean. The early check in was great, but did not get the extra towels requested. Overall, would stay here again. more

This hotel does look a little outdated from the outside, however once inside it is incredible! The lobby is stunning, and once inside the room we were truly pleased! The bed is extremely comfortable, so much so that we would like to take it home. Everyone is extremely pleasant! We ordered room service and it was wonderful. We would highly... more

This was our first stay at the Williamsburg Marriott. The lobby was elegant and well-maintained. It is an older Marriott which showed in the hallway and rooms. The 5th floor hallway was undergoing maintenance work. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable! The kids had a great time at the pool which stayed open until 11 pm.... more

Please don't believe all the reviews you're reading about this hotel. We went down for the Langley Air Show in April and stayed at the Williamsburg Marriott. After staying here, I couldn't help but think that most of these reviews are written by people who must stay in some of the best hotels and have the highest expectations (highty-tighty people).... more

We where supposed to stay 2 nights, but checked out only after one! THe rooms (we had 2) where both disgusting, there was broken glass on the floor, cob webs on the ceiling, finger prints on the door and walls, the beds where screwed into the walls, but where coming undone so that drywall dust was all over the place.... more

I expected a little more for the price, pool was broken and we were never advised of this. Had to ask for coffee to be refilled 3 out of 5 mornings. No ketchup for the week, may not seem important to some, but to my kids it means a lot. Room service ok, just brought towels didnt clean or make beds.... more

So most of the hotels in Wiliamsburg are very old and are in need of major overhaul. After doing a lot of looking around, and needing a hotel closer to the SE end of Williamsburg, I settled on the Williamsburg Marriott at Kingsmill. Given its location and pedigree, I was hoping for a renovated, clean hotel in a quiet area.... more

As a Marriott platinum member I was disappointed to find a large suite with peeling wallpaper, outdated carpet, poor ventillation/A-C, and the list goes on... Marriott needs to either tear this place down or make a complete commitment to renovate this property. I was embarassed when my Kings Mill guests arrived and commented on the condition of the overall hotel... more
