Uhhh yea im sitting here in my room awake because its hot. There is no air conditioning in each room. Apparently its an old style hotel and it either has heat or ac but these are controlled by the office!! They offered a fan after I called to make sure what my brother in law (who made it to the... Overall: great value ($50/night before taxes) for the stay. Good: parking, convenience & privacy (all rooms on ground floor, park right outside front door), can tell management tries hard to keep property fresh & maintained. Roomy, not cramped. Free breakfast, although very modest in offerings. Bad: age of property, some appliances like heat lamp did not work - these are... More

This motel is conveniently located a few blocks from Colonial Williamsburg and has a surprising number of amenities for the great price (pool, continental breakfast, fridge/microwave in room). The man working the front desk when we checked in was extremely helpful and provided us with several pamphlets, taking time to walk us through the map and point out where the... More

Really enjoyed our stay at the Rodeway Inn Historic. Williamsburg is one of our favorite family vacation spots. The Rodeway is just a short walk to historic Williamsburg. The rooms were a nice size and the staff was very friendly. We liked the historic look of the brick walkways and the shuttered doors. The lobby was very nice. The breakfast... More

We had booked this hotel through a package that gave us a 7 day flex pass for Colonial Williamsburg, Historic Jamestown, Jamestown Settlement, Yorktown battlefield, Yorktown Victory Center, Busch European Gardens and Busch Water park combined with a 3 night hotel stay. Our room was clean, although I must say that the furniture (except the bed) looked as if it... More

Would not recommend this place. Rooms are dirty. A dental floss stick was left in the room from previous guest and was not taken out until day before trip ended. On 8/10/13 the power was out starting at 3:00 pm and was still out when we checked out on 8/11 around 9:00 am. The person taking care of front dest... More

I can't believe anyone would give this hotel more than one star. The room smelled moldy and so did the bathroom. No ventilation in the bathroom AND the windows were all nailed shut!! Very, very poor looking room, the furniture, beds and linen were old. The pool in located in the front of this place which is on the corner... More

I often wonder what people expect for the money they are paying at a tourist destination when they give average motels poor reviews. Very friendly staff at check in. About a four minute drive to Colonial Williamsburg, so we were able to come back for a nap before evening activities. Decent room included TV and DVD player, clean, in good... More

The hotel is in a very bed shape. The ceiling has leaks in a lot of rooms(we had to change 3 rooms), the walls are with pealing wallpaper and black mold, roaches every wear, the rooms are not clean (found the food and dirt behind the chair( you could see it even if you do not move the chair). The... More
