We stay here when visiting Colonial Williamsburg for the sole reason that it's one of the only hotels in town that allow us to bring our dog, who loves Williamsburg (and the horses and the grazing sheep) as much as we do. We had requested a room near the elevator or on the first floor sinced my mother, who was traveling with us, cannot walk for long distances. My wife and I were to stay here. She checked in before my arrival and the way the room shook from the train nearby was her first indicator of a questionable stay. She then found the wall paper of the room peeling off. She was moved to another room where the bathroom was so small the toilet touched the door.... more

I stayed here because it was close to Busch Gardens and I thought it would be a nice hotel with the Four Points Sheraton name. The staff was nice and the rooms had new carpet and tile. Pretty awful - damp, smells, no internet in suites, lots of stuff broken. Suites are just an old low end apartment building next door "remodeled" into a hotel. I am amazed Sheraton would put their brand on this place....at least it was cheap. more
