We arrived for a three night stay in Williamsburg and found that our "suite" was an efficiency apartment in a group of buildings away from the main hotel. These efficiencies seemed to be occupied mostly by long term tenants and the feel of the place was that of a welfare hotel. The non-smoking room smelled like a chimney. Cars blasted... more

I stayed here June 16-18 with my husband and 20 month old daughter. When we arrived I had booked the Busch Gardens package that they have. I was told online that the rate was 119.00 a night including tickets. When I got there the rate was 182 a night I confronted them about that but got no where. I payed... more

We stayed at the Clarion Historic District Hotel to attend a grand daughter's graduation from William and Mary College. Despite trepidation because of several bad reviews, we found the hotel to be clean and modern with nicely furnished rooms and a spacious lobby. The indoor swimming pool was well maintained and better than most at medium priced hotel/motels. It offered... more

I stayed at this hotel last weekend with my husband and daugther, and my in laws. We arrived and the hotel had a very musty smell when you walk in. We had requested a roll away bed, which was not in the room. After traveling a few hours, the first thing we did was go to the bathroom. The toilet... more

Have stayed here several times because the price and location to the colonial area makes the problems tolerable. One still wonders why the small details get missed - we're not talking about water leaking through the ceiling or arrogant staff, but when you check into your room you at least expect it to be clean and ready for you. That's... more

I was scheduled to attend a timeshare presentation and selected this hotel (as an upgrade) because I did not like the other hotels they were using. I went on Trip Advisor and saw all the negative comments and became concerned. If our room/suite turned out to be horrible, my husband and I knew what to do. So on the drive... more

As you read through these reviews, you will see many stating how dirty something was, etc. The next person will review it and say it was perfect. Let me give you my point of view, as I stay there 5-6 times a year on business (I'm a Starwood/Sheraton Preferred Guest). 4-Points Sheraton properties are the no-frills line of hotels in... more

I, my husband and our best friend just returned from a stay at this hotel. We stayed from 11/14 thru 11/18 in a 2 bdrm, 2 bath suite. We booked this thru Priceline and only paid $562 (including taxes). Our suite was very clean. The beds were comfortable and NO trace of urine OR dirty sheets in our beds! The... more

My boyfriend and I went on vacation here for a weekend trip to Williasmburg. Our hotel appeared clean, until we pulled down our blankets and found pee on our bed, still wet. It may have been from a pet, but either way the sheets weren't changed. They moved us to a different room, which was not as nice. We enjoyed... more

Booked this hotel because of the location close to Williamsburg, but it's not worth the convenience. When you take a shower, the water does not drain out of the tub for an hour. I reported it to the front desk and they didn't fix it even though they said they would send maintenance right over. There is a stain on... more
