Booked for two nights, but we are checking out tonight after listening to neighbors, children running up and down the halls all night. Radios playing all night long. Now Im listening to someone cursing/screaming in the next room and it's 9 in the morning! I think that there are "permanent" residents living here paying discounted rates....and they're not studying to... More

Got room thru priceline for only $55 a night so i can't complain much at all. Room did have a funky perhaps moldy smell but we didn't notice it after a minute in the room. Room was clean bathroom was clean. Room may have been remodeled within the past 5-7 years so it wasn't too bad. It was quiet. I... More

So we were told we were on the "business class" room and it cost more. Why does the wifi BARELY work in the more expensive room? We called as soon as we got settled and after 2 days its still slow and doesn't really work...hm..IT SMELLS "colonial".. So someone came and sprayed something and it still smelled "colonial" (THE AC... More

We were pleasantly surprised. We got a great rate for the area (right near Busch Gardens and Historic Williamsburg). Therefore, we were a bit leery but decided to roll the dice. I'm so glad we did. Yes, the building is dated. But not so badly dated that it was scary. It just wasn't brand spanking new more like late nineties... More

Stayed there because there was no other hotels available (and we don't go for the Chain hotels) at such short notice. + Free parking on site.Free wifi. - Noisy hotel outside, in the hotel bar, in front. Dark hotel - no ambience. Grumpy front desk staff - and don't expect advise on eg trips

We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. I booked this hotel through Priceline. There were some good things and some bad. After booking I found out this was a 'dog friendly" hotel. Not bad if you are traveling with pets, but my nephew has allergies. I asked if our room previously housed animals. I was told that the... More

My husband & I stayed there from 7-20/7-24 in a handicapped room with a roll in shower. That was the only good thing about this hotel. The room smelled and I don't think they really cleaned the room. They NEVER threw away our take out food from the night before. No fridge in the room. When I called to ask if they asked... More

We arrived at 11 pm exhausted. We checked in on July 16. The room had several holes in the wall and it smelled like old wet clothes. I called the front desk and nobody answered the phone. We were so exhausted we went to sleep. The air conditioning worked really well. I woke up and leaned on the headboard and... More

The staff I interacted with were nice and very chatty. The hotel is also in a great location and within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg. We did have our dog with us so we stayed on the pet floor. Our room had a very musty smell and felt damp. Because the pet floor is on the lowest level, we were... More

Pros: close to Colonial Williamsburg, free wifi Cons: We had several issues with our stay.... We arrived at 3:15pm and was very rudely informed by the older woman at the front desk that check in wasn't until 4pm. (That seems later than most hotels to me.). She stated that housekeeping hadn't released any rooms yet. I can understand that, but... More
