Landed at this hotel after our reservation was overbooked on June 20,2009. Was not sure what we would get, but boy were we impressed after our trip ended. After a long drive from Baltimore Md we arrived here at 7pm and at the front desk we spoke to Ira. We explained to Ira our situation and he set us up... more

We booked based on reviews and found them to be accurate. Reasonable rate with easy walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. Wi Fi fee is chintzy - and not customer friendly. We did not use the service. Staff was accommodating and room was clean. 1 -2 reviews commented about priciness of breakfast. We did not find that to be the case.... more

This is one of the nicest hotels. Beautiful. Very friendly, accomadating staff. Perfect location. Hotel restaurant breakfast was good. Room was extra large, furnishings were very nice. Our group rented a suite for us to hold our business meetings. It was very very nice. The main objection I have is that they do not have complimentary internet in the rooms.... more

What a great lodging experience I had while in Williamsburg! The location was ideal. We attended a conference at William and Mary. Everything--the college, the sites of Williamsburg, shopping and great restaurants-- were in easy walking distance of the Hospitality House. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. more

You can walk to the Duke of Gloster Street historic area easily from here. Free garage parking. Very clean hotel with good resaurant. Room was nice & quiet. Great value. Only negatives: Our room was large, but there was only one chair in it! Lots of empty floor space. There isn't a cart that you can use to take your... more

I stayed here two nights with my 73 year old mother. After researching hotels I decided this one was the best value. A short walk (approx 10 minutes) to Colonial Williamsburg. Room we stayed in looked onto the center garden terrace. That area was a little noisy the first night because of a grooms dinner, but that didn't go too late.... more

Clean, well located, older, yet cheerful and not above itself. Great quality for a reasonable price. What more could you ask for? In the hottest months stay on the shady side ( but aren't we supposed to be getting used to real weather again?) Eat at Blue Talon, esp. for clam chowder. more

Stayed one night as part of college visit to William & Mary. Best location - within walking distance of college, town merchants and restaurants. Had a homey old fashioned colonial look that fit right in with the area. In the nice historic area - not a strip mall. Room was large and comfortable, very quiet and staff was friendly. No... more

To be fair, the room was a very good value (half off second night) and the location can't be beat. The room was spacious and beautiful. Staff was friendly, but sorta lackadaisical, and gave us bad advice several times. What made it unpleasant though was the food was uniformly awful. dinner was burnt, breakfast waterly and limp - and expensive.... more

This hotel is one of the first places to stay after getting onto Richmond Rd after the Colonial area. If you are looking for places to walk to for shopping or dining, you're going to have a long walk. But driving a few miles down Richmond Rd was easy. The underground parking was a nice touch. When we did try... more
