We stayed here about 10 years ago and it does not look like they have done any updates since then. Showing some age. Beds were not that comfy and the pillows were terrible! The breakfast was pretty bad too, even for a free one. They was a whole bus load that pulled in around midnight too and were slamming the... more

Looks good from the outside but thats where it stops. We had reservations for three nights but only stay'd two. The room was small, old and alittle worn. The room was alittle dirty so we didnt let the kids walk barefoot in the room and we all wore flip-flops in the shower. We didnt spend much time in the room... more

As far as this brand goes, it was okay. Normally I wouldn't stay here, but this is where the person in charge of booking decided on. Anyway, it had outdated decorations, a sort of dusty lobby, unsafe windows that didn't lock, no DVD players in the room as advertised, and a TV that I had to rescan to get anything... more

My husband and I stayed here from 5/16-5/19. We didn't smell anything (see note below). The room was just fine. It was clean, not spotless. The beds were clean and changed. We didn't have any towels, I guess they were being washed, but were immediately given some when I asked for them. The staff was polite and helpful (one exception... more

We wanted to stay in Williamsburg for a few days so I walked into this hotel and booked a room. Lobby was OK, front desk clerk was nice and polite. I was given a rate of $79, which was average for the area. I was told to park in the back and go through the double doors into the basement....that... more

My wife and i and our two sons (9&6) stayed at the Days Inn Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area during the Easter/Spring break holiday in April, 2009, apart from the good location, there was absolutely nothing good about this hotel. The rooms are irritating, dirty and unkept, the beddings are never changed, there is dust all over the furniture, the employees... more

I have stayed at the Days Inn Historic Area for several years now. I must say it still has the charm of a bed and breakfast while having several amenities of a hotel chain. I am happy to see that one of my favorite hotels has been kept in good condition. I will stay there again. more

We have been staying at this hotel for years and absolutely love it. It is so refreshing to go back to a hotel and find the same people year after year, it is obvious they take pride in the job they do and the place they work. Over the years you can definitely tell that the building has gotten a... more

We had a wonderful visit to Williamsburg on our way to Washington DC for the presidential inauguration. The staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful and it was right around the corner from old Williamsburg which is why we stopped there. The old town is very cute and we ate at a great restaurant The Trellis. The hotel... more
