The owners, Wayne and Linda, made everyone feel welcome. The service and food were great. They went to extra efforts to accomodate food allergies and other dietary restrictions. The house and all of its' contents were a visual feast of Victorian times. The wrap around porch is an excellant place to relax. The house is centrally located to the Blue... more

Traveling with my husband who has health problems can be stressful. Linda and Wayne, in addition to being attentive, knowledgeable inn keepers, were most cooperative in assisting me to keep him safe and comfortable. Helping him up and down the stairs, carrying our luggage, providing extra room heaters and shawls were a few ways they assisted. Our stay was an... more

We spent two nights in this B&B. We got two joined rooms with a full bathroom. It served perfectly for us since we came with two children. It is usually not easy to find accommodation for 4 people. The house is amazing! It is very clean, comfortable and full of antics. The breakfast was great and different each morning. We... more

How lucky were we after a mesmerising journey down Skyline Drive to find the Belle Hearth B&B! Linda and Wayne were impeccable hosts and their home was a joy to visit. The Magnolia room was outstanding and the period furnishings were a delight to experience. As this was our first visit to the US the highlight was a beautiful breakfast... more

Wayne and Linda are great. Linda met us when we arrived and went over breakfast. She gave us a tour of their home along with a history lesson of the house. You will have to stay here to find out what the history is though. It is so close to all the historic attractions at a fraction of the price... more

My husband stayed at Belle Hearth for our anniversary and had a lovely time. There was so much to do in and around Waynesboro. The attractions were awsome! The B&B was gorgious. The breakfasts were the best I think I've ever had in my life!! Linda & Wayne (onwers) were so nice and accommodating. Our room was much, MUCH nicer... more

Wayne and Linda are excellent inn-keepers, featuring wonderful breakfasts, lots of snacks, and loads of helpful suggestions. We were there 2 nights, the first day we visited the homes of Presidents Jefferson and Monroe, the second day we visited the homes of Presidents Wilson and Madison, all well worth the short pleasant drive from the inn. University of Virginia, designed... more

We arrived to a warm smile as Linda greeted us. She took us on a brief tour of the 100-year old house. After getting settled in, we were treated to tea, cookies and some nice conversation. Since my husband has food intolerances, Linda reviewed the breakfast menu to make sure everything would be acceptable. They even provided special bread for... more

We enjoyed a delightful stay at the Belle Hearth B&B this past week. Our hostess Linda gave us a tour of the house, which was still decorated for the holidays, when we arrived as well as some history about the doctor who originally built it in 1909. We were very pleased with our selection of the Rose Room. The gas... more

Since 2003 I have used the Belle Hearth as my home away from for many local activities -- visiting wineries, UVa events, local fishing in all directions, the world famous Blackfriars Theater in Staunton, Blue Ridge area sight seeing and shopping. At the Belle Hearth I receive fabulous breakfasts, comfortable accommodations, and personal attention from gracious hosts Wayne and Linda.... more
