That how we felt and thats how the Inn feels. Dave and Heidi made us feel right at home. Everything is top notch and worth the price paid. We stayed in the Pine Room which was lovely and gave us access to the deck and the great views. There was construction during our stay to add some cabins. We look... More

We were traveling to the Shenandoah Valley, my wife was reviewing various lodgings on the APT-PLACES on her cell phone. She telephoned the Iris Inn and spoke with Dave the proprietor. Were we surprised when we drove up the hill to this beautiful inn in the Blue Ridge Mountains overlooking the Shenandoah Valley at sunset. We spent a delightful evening... More

I just returned from spending a weekend as a first time visitor to a Bed & Breakfast. I can say with absolute certainty, that this is how I will spend future vacations rather than staying in hotels, especially if they are anywhere close to the experience I had at the Iris Inn, in Waynesboro, Va. Dave & Heidi Lanford go... More

Len, We could not tell you were a newbie to the Bed and Breakfast scene. Take a look at www.innvirginia.com or bedandbreakfast.com if you need a bed and breakfast for lodging outside of the Shenandoah Valley. Dave and I so enjoyed getting to know you and your Subaru colleagues. See you next year at the Fly Fishing Festival. I hear... More

We spent five nights at the Iris Inn. We could not have asked for two more helpful hosts, as well as, so many attractions in the area. When we left we knew that there is still more to see. We stayed in the Pine Room. What a view! Off of our room were two chairs with a table plus a... More

This was our first Bed and Breakfast and we went to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary. It was absolutely excellent! Everything was more than expected, from the cake, cheese tray and wine waiting for us in our room, to the picnic lunch that was prepared for us. The cookie jar always had delicious chocolate chip cookies in it! The owners... More

Wow, I've heard great things about the Iris Inn from a friend and her family who have visited there frequently, and I'm certainly glad I had the chance to join them for their most recent trip! The Inn is just lovely with very spacious rooms complete with all of the essentials and several extra touches, especially for us chocolate lovers.... More

My husband & I celebrated our 2nd anniversary at the Iris Inn. The place is built really well and we had every modern convenience. The bedding was SO comfortable, and it was nice to have a TV in our room. We also enjoyed the common area (played Scrabble), the dvd selection, and the afternoon wine. The location really couldn't be... More

Three couples spent four nights at the Iris Inn in March 2012. We choose the Inn for its location and modern facilities. The Iris Inn is well located for exploring both the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The innkeepers are warm, friendly, and very helpful. Heidi and Dave made dinner reservations for us, advised our group on hikes... More
