Our second year at The Iris Inn, this time in the Wildflower Suite, which is lovely with fabulous views of the Blue abridge Mountains. We were disappointed not to be able to once again get a cabin (really ultra modern adult tree houses!) but they are very popular. The hosts, Dave and Heidi and all the staff are so warm... More

My husband and I planned a brief hiking trip in the Shenandoahs and wanted to stay at a B&B. I was quite disappointed in that regard. While the Iris Inn is perfectly pleasant, well maintained, and the staff is very approachable, it's definitely not a B&B, as advertised. Call me a foodie, but concentrated OJ is not my idea of... We spent 3 nights in cabin #5 last week and LOVED every minute. We were looking for a quiet getaway from the FL heat and found it. The grounds and the cabin were pristine with thoughtful touches all over. Utilized the hot tub a LOT and spent more time in the cabin than we normally spend in the room when... More

We stayed five days in one of the cabins and had an amazing time. Not only was the room itself very clean and well laid-out, but the inn itself is centrally located to scenic drives, hiking, and the adorable little town of Staunton. We are already thinking about our next trip to Virginia!

My husband and I just spent the weekend at the Iris Inn. He fished, I attended the Better Way to Learn Innkeeping Seminar conducted by The B & B Team. The Iris Inn is just gorgeous; well maintained and the staff is wonderful. We stayed in the Wildflower Room, lovely, large room overlooking the valley. We hope to go back... More

The Iris B and B is a great spot near the Shenandoah. Glenn, the manager was so gracious from check-in to check-out. The views are amazing and the "happy hour" was a treat. We stayed in the main house, if you want a view and privacy stay upstairs. Loved it.

We stayed in cabin #2 for our 32nd anniversary celebration weekend. It exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back. The Innkeepers are fantastic and go to great lengths to accomodate their guests.

We choose the cabins at Iris Inn for our week long second honeymoon after reading a number of reviews. Service was top notch, the cabin was top notch, the breakfast was top notch! The owners were kind and welcoming without being pushy. Breakfast was delicious and filling. My husband is a picky eater and the staff kindly provided alternatives for... More

This is a beautiful little inn with a very hospitable staff and delicious breakfast. Our room was clean and spacious - very comfortable. The balcony at the inn has all sorts of comfortable seating to suite anyone's style - from rocking chairs to hammocks. The staff had a complimentary little "happy hour" around 5:30pm, which made for a great way... More

We spent a wonderful evening in their modern contemporary cabins. Dave and Heidi were excellent hosts and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They made great recommendations for local events and restaurants. We will be sharing this well kept secret with all of our friends.
