We stayed here on a Saturday night after attending a road show in nearby Charlottesville. This property is about 3 miles from the interstate but easy to find. We had made reservations through the Quality Inn website, so check in was a breeze. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast us in a smallish section of the office area.... More

The motel was under construction, but we thought the rooms could still be clean. They were not at all. The toilet was filthy and there was urine on the seat! The hallway and the room smelled horrible from fumes from the glue being used on carpeting. There were ants in the bathroom. Would be better off staying anywhere else!!

We were a little nervous when we pulled up to the hotel and saw signs of on going construction at the hotel. We need not have worried. Our room was at the far end of the building. Check -in was easy and they were prepared for our arrival. The room was very large, clean, and well appointed with a refrigerator,... More

Stayed on 7-18-15 in rm 213. Paid 89 for a 2 queen bed. Very big room. Clean room. No funky smells or bugs. Bed wasn't rock hard. Lots of pillows. Quiet except for people who let their room doors slam when the leave. Everything worked as it should. Had fridge & micro in rm. Hot shower. Breakfast was the usual... More

Large motel with good service. State highway workers stayed during our 3 night stay. Easy to find off highway 64. Town of Waynesboro is old, small and quiet. Lots of churches in the foothills of the Blue Ridge. Good library and lots of food choices nearby. Breakfast is adequate although our first morning there were not many eggs.

First stayed here in 1967 when it was in prime condition. I'm surprised it is in as good shape as it is. Improvements are happening, we reviewed two rooms, 211 and 174. selected 174 as it was at the front near the office. Beds were comfortable and, other than the carpet that needs replacement, unit was ok. Improved wall covering,... More

The building was separate from the main hotel. Carpet in the hall was filthy. Room carpet, just as bad. Bathroom had flying bugs that looked like termites. Old and dirty. I have stayed here before in the king rooms and they were fine. The other couple with us had the room across the hall and it was just as bad!... More

This was a last minute choice but we would have been better off going further down the highway. This is an older, very run down property and not very clean. I was hesitant to walk barefoot on the carpet and in the morning I saw why as I glimpsed a rather large bug making its way under the carpet. I... More

I guess very town needs a hotel of last resort. If so , then this gets 5 lumps of coal. I stayed in some creepy out building. it was so nice to be welcomed with dirty plastic flowers in the entry way, that combined with wonderful smell of menthol cigarettes just added to the ambiance. They still have smoking rooms... More

This hotel is one of a kind. Upon our arrival to the hotel we asked the front desk clerk the history of the property. once understanding its history, we gained a lot of respect for the property. In all consideration yes the carpet may have been out of date and all material things were not to that of 2015 production... More
