I wish that I would have had more time to spend at this delight place! It's located in a secluded area (not in the middle of the town) with absolutely beautiful views from the parlor, as well as the dining room. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying this place! The rooms are tidy and cozy. My room had a wonder... more

At just a little over an hour south of D.C., you will love this B&B. Our latest stay served as our base for a visit to Thomas Jefferson's estate at Monticelloon on Saturday with a superb dinner in Charlottesvile, followed by Sunday shopping and antiquing in Washington and Sperryville, VA, plus an unforgettable tour of the Copper Fox distillery (where... more

Walt & Susan's B&B is just down the road from world-renouned 5-star Inn at Little Washington, and a gem amongst the B&Bs in Little Washington, VA! Their inn comes complete with great views, live donkeys and sheep, rolling hills, superb hospitality and reasonable prices! They have four very nice rooms; three upstairs with sparkling new bathrooms, beautiful natural light, multi-head... more

I recently had my 3rd stay at Fairlea Farm and it was wonderful, of course! The property is beautiful, with lovely mountain views, a deck , and friendly donkeys. Each time I've stayed in a different room (2 of the upstairs rooms and the downstairs suite) and each has been delightful. The upstairs bathrooms are fully renovated with spa-like showers.... more

This place is superb! We stayed here for 5 nights during our 2008 holiday in the USA. When we booked four months earlier we were a little unsure as to whether this was a good choice since, based on most of the other reviews, Fairlea Farm appeared to be suited to people living in Virginia or nearby states who stayed... more

We weren't quite sure what to expect from this B&B as there were only a few pictures on the website--but we were MORE than pleasantly surprised when we checked in. For one, the owners could not have been nicer. Susan spoke with us at length on the phone before we confirmed our stay, answering all of our questions about things... more

When we travel (as we do often for business and pleasure) there are a few mainstays that we look for: great accomodations, great food, and lovely surroundings. You can't beat the Fairlea Farm for any of these in this little corner of the world. Walt and Susan exemplify the best of inn-keepers; they are warm and friendly, without being too... more

We just returned from a one-night stay over New Year's Eve and look forward to returning in warm weather. Great location (near Shenandoah National Park) and views of the countryside, lovely and comfortable rooms (we stayed in the Rose Room, which has a huge and modern bathroom), and amazing breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, and several pastries baked by... more
