This has been our 8th or 9th visit to Rimba since 2001. Every time it gets better (we come from the UK to visit Rimba). We stayed in the Island suite with stunning views of Tinggi. The food was out of this world and the staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our son (13 years)... More

This little known location offers a complete get away. The meals provided included are of a standard you will not expect by looking at the photographs of the resort. The dive Master John Marshall ,will take care of all standards of diver from the youngest wannabe to the best old pro. He can safely take you to wonderful sites.in this... More

I first visited Rimba in 2000 on a recommendation from a friend who sold it an idealic getaway from life in Singapore. I've been meaning to get back over the years and lucked out with a last minute opening, so the kids and I loaded the car and made our way to Tg Lema. The staff was ontime and met... More

This small idyllic resort is on Sibu Island Malaysia - they will pick you up from your hotel in Singapore or JB area and whisk you by boat from Mersing to this hidden spot. When you arrive, the tiny villas barely show up beneath the palm trees. They meet you of the boat and then pamper you wonderfully - snorkeling... More

The bungalows are nice and equipped just with the necessary. The bar is extremely relaxful and the staff incredibly positive and friendly. Rimba is the perfect resort for families and couples to spend a few days at an affordable price.

Stayed for 6 nights in the last week of July with our three kids aged 5, 7 and 9. We were lucky enough to get the family hut with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and hot water. Rimba is EXACTLY the type of place my wife and I were hoping for. For starters the resort setting is stunning. The staff are... More

We spent 3D2N at Rimba Resort end of June with our 2.5 years-old daughter and 2 of our friends. This is an humble and small resort but providing a great service and making this short escape an all-comfort trip! What we preferred is the service approach. When you go for a short week-end escape, you might need to settle couple... More

Rimba Resort was my weekend getaway from Singapore - and I can only recommend it. As others have already mentioned, it is a bit on the expensive side, particularly because the accommodation is really basic. Having said that, I didn't mind the huts at all, in fact it felt like a little adventure staying in the African style huts with... More

We visited the island with our 3 rugrats aged 5,2 and 8 months. Rimba is an absolutely amazing place but you must bare in mind that it offers very basic accommodation. If you get over this then the rest is anything but basic. The only three things we found difficult for our family were the 'open access rooms' ie no... More
