My boyfriend and I went to Virginia Beach for the weekend of July 10-12, 2009 for a concert. We wanted to stay near the beach, but all of the hotels directly on the beach were extremely expensive and more than we wanted to pay for the weekend. We were able to stay at the Atrium for $89 a night! Our... more

We stayed here during the July 4 weekend, in a renovated room. Though the feng shui wasn't great, the bed was nice, the comforter cozy, etc. Our room was missing pots and pans, but they brought us some when we asked. All the people here were super nice. So, overall, it was a good experience, though it isn't the nicest... more

I was a little leary of this place after reading some of the bad reviews. But Im so glad that I stayed at the Atrium. This was probably the best vacation weve had in years. Check in took less than three minutes. The staff was always friendly and helpful. There is an indoor pool with jacuzzi. The rooms have a... more

I recently stayed at the Atrium resort for a weekend, and to say I was disappointed was an understatement. I will commend the staff at the front desk, as they were very pleasant and helpful. Although I had read the reviews, and was leary, I wanted to use some timeshare points, that I would have lost if I had not... more

My family stayed at the Atrium April 29 to May 5th 2009. We booked this place through friends of ours, who have a timeshare with the company VGA. After we booked, we saw the awful reviews, and were not happy. We tried to switch, but all the other hotels in our price range were booked. We decided to take a... more

I was coming to the area for the labor day weekend before the official end of summer and wanted something more than a basic hotel room so i could spend more time relaxing than out and about. this place was definitely what i was looking for! when i read some of the reviews i was a little concerned, so i... more

The last weekend in September of 2008 my family and I stayed at the Atrium Resort in Virginia Beach VA. Upon checking in the the hotel he had to wait at least 30 to 45 minutes to be helped with only 2 people in front of us. To our surprise we were able to check in about an hour early.... more

My wife and I recently stayed at the atrium resort in virginia beach, virginia. This was our first time to virginia beach and were a little nervous skeptical about the resort because some of the reviews. The resort is only two short blocks away from the beach and all the excitement, bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Its true we didn't have... more

To begin they gave away our reserved room on the ocean front that we had reserved a week in advance. The hotel chain has three properties on the beach or near the beach and they said they had a resort room in the Atrium so we took it for the same price of the other one we were suppossed to... more

It was listed as "resort" and "luxury". In fact, the condo was anything but. It was downright dirty, had a terrible odor, had horrible decorating , was very small, was a full 10-15 minute walk to the beach, and had no working amenities. The hallway had areas that the mirrors had been taken off and were just open areas. The... more
