Good news and bad news as it pertains to Newcastle (aka Olddumpster). The bad news is there is no good news. The room was extremely small and hard to maneuver around in, the floor was sticky. I was placed in a room directly above their restaurant it was extremely loud due to the fact they had live music and drunken... More

I will never visit this hotel again!!! My boyfriend and I booked a weekend stay in July 2014. We left the day following our arrival and booked at an upscale hotel. First of all, the internet lists the hotel as a "hotel" when it is in fact a "motel". Our room was dirty, the shower door was broken and hanging... More

We did not have one complaint. The room on the third floor (king deluxe) was very spaceous and clean. The balcony and ocean view was great. The employees were frendly. The restaurant at the hotel, the food was great. We had a wonderful weekend and can't wait to go back.

We have been here before and return because we like the FREE BIKES on site for riding the Boardwalk, the casual restaurant - open air, great food and cocktails, and the motel's location in the quieter part of the beach area. You can easily walk to the noisy, high traffic part and then go back to the motel restaurant and... More

This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. It needs to be renovated so bad. It is not a clean hotel. When we got there we had to wash the tile floor because it was so nasty. And afterwards the rag was black from the dirt on the floor. The bed was so hard, not comfortable at... More

I made the initial reservation for our trip and paid for the first night....when we got there, the balance of the stay was being paid by the person I was travelling with....their card and driver's license was given to the front desk and they asked "should we charge the balance to this card? "Yes" guess what? My card was charged....awkward... More

This hotel has all ocean view rooms. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. It does need to be renovated, but was great for a 3-4 day stay. The entire area is family friendly and even has signs for being a 'no profanity zone'. Plenty of shops and places to eat along the road the hotel is on.
